Under Obamacare you pay for illegal immigrant healthcare. They made a big deal about removing the language that gave illegals healthcare but then left a giant hole in it that allows “undocumented workers” to use the system. All republican attempts to remove that loophole were blocked by democrats on a party line vote and the media just ignored it.
Btw, this just in, analysis done by the HHS department now finds that Obamacare will be significantly more expensive than previously stated and will never lower healthcare overall costs. It’s also projected to force 15% of hospitals into debt due to reduced payouts. The govt says it’s “a bargain price for guaranteeing coverage to 95 percent of Americans”. Interesting that the studies coming out now have exactly opposite findings as the ones done earlier…

In fact, the more I look back the more they’ve been building up to this, warning about it, and calling how they thought it would go. For the past few years, actually.

Every time they release a bigger drive they say that and every time they’re proven wrong about it. I remember them talking about this when they first released 500GB drives. That was it, they would get no larger. The platters couldn’t hold any more. Same as with global warming, the “experts” are proven wrong time and again but for some reason the media keeps publishing them and the public keeps listening.
There is no 3TB model and won’t be until they get the platter capacities higher. Current technology will only allow for 500GB/platter and manufacturers use a maximum of 4 platters per drive due to heat, weight, power, and wear/tear issues. We’ll need a 50% increase in platter capacity before you’ll see a 3TB drive. Next year, definately probable, this year, no. At most this year we’ll get a 2.5TB drive using 640GB platters.
Keep in mind that South Park is the most watched show on Comedy Central. Having all those viewers move to a network like MTV would be a huge loss, especially if the other network gave them true freedom to do as they wished.

there are a lot of errors in that statement, and I would never stripe 5-7 drives as you are just asking for a failure, and highend SSDs are still going to be way faster in most cases, but the fact still remains that unless you are going to spend ~$500+ for a 128gb SSD, you really aren’t going to get enough of a performance improvement over a traditional hard drive to justify the price.
Every SSD I’ve ever seen in a computer could easily be beat by my old 20GB Maxtor PATA drive. Regardless, the max theoretical speed for the SATA2 bus that SSDs run on is 375MB/sec which is, under perfect conditions, around 3x faster. Not as fast as everyone implies…
Most SSDs are slower than high-end 7200rpm SATAs.
You have to get a really expensive one to get a performance increase. Typically for the same price you could get 5-7 WD Black 1TB drives. If you stripped them your performance would still be higher on the standard drives than the SSDs so it’s really just a waste of money.
The failure rate on the expensive SSDs is pretty high too and once that data’s gone it’s gone forever. Not the “well you can pay out the *edited* to recover it” kind of gone but like really gone.
The best part are the three 20 second bleeps at the end where Kile/Jesus/Santa talk about threats and intimidation.

No he’s dead on. They depicted Muhammad in ‘Super Best Friends’. Comedy Central didn’t censor it and there was no retaliation.
‘Super Best Friends’ has been taken off their episode streaming list as well, stating they no longer have clearance from Comedy Central to stream it.
Seriously, it was decided last year that we need to record what gets said in the IT office and make a show or something else out of it. The arguments and conversations in there are routinely epic.

idk why you came on here looking for advice, you know what you are buying and it should be fine. I personally wouldnt buy an atom-based anything but that is my personal opinion on the matter.
It’s dualcore with hyperthreading. Much better than the standard Atom they ship in netbooks.
Also, I just ordered this a few hours ago. I was hoping for some real feedback but all I got was smack about my inadequate size.

It was bound to happen, it isn’t something that could be avoided and something SGA has wanted to happen for a while. I believe this constitution was written with MasterP’s involvement so I wouldn’t expect Bitey, Kuros, nor even myself (even though I’m still a student) to have an “epeen contest” about the matter.
I was asked to participate in the revision process and actually wrote the part about alumni involvement. You’ll find it hard to get an alumni to disagree with what’s been written. We can still be active in the club, can still participate in events, and can still give advice. We only lose one executive council vote which doesn’t really matter because that one vote has never been enough to change the outcome of an executive decision.
I also did the proofreading and final touchups
Someone definately needs to IRC this so everyone can know how things go. The document is *edited* sexy compared to the overly amended and loophole filled version we’ve been using.
