Al Gore won’t run. His theories on global warming would be debated over in public and his lies would be exposed in the mass media.

Just get the post count up and you’ll usually get it same day.
There are enough active threads to get about 4-6 good posts per day. That means after about 2 weeks you should meet the requirement.

Unfortunately you need 50 meaningful posts before you can be an admin. It proves that you are not only active in te server but are also active in the community as a whole.
An easy alternative to forum posts is to be a student at WCU but it’s not cost effective if you only want admin.

I agree with that, none of the candidates are any good but I think McCain is probably best suited for the position. If democrats and independents hadn’t voted in the Republican primaries in droves like they did we would have had a much stronger candidate and if the media wasn’t retarded we’d have Thompson. Thompson was the most conservative on the list but he was largely ignored by the media because he didn’t readily produce the one-liners they typically run with.
Btw, for those keeping track, so far one of the three senior members of Obama’s VP selection committee has resigned for having shady mortgage loans and a second member is close to being forced out for his role in Clinton’s pardon extravaganza. This comes less than a week after Obama was forced to give contributions back to a longtime supporter convicted of more than 20 federal corruption charges. If this had been a Republican it would be a big deal but since it’s a Democrat it’s being largely ignored.

You’ll notice that most of Obama’s unscripted speeches have either serious mistakes or flat out lies in them. Libs have been bashing Bush for YEARS because of his accent and trouble improvising but I don’t remember him ever saying anything that comes close to some of Obama’s crap the past few months.
I mean he did say he had visited 57 states and had 2 left to go. If you don’t know how many states there are you have no place being in ANY political office.
Fewer like him with each passing day. Soon, very soon, there will be none that like him and we will vote him off the island.

in all honesty, i think the max should be around 20… i dont think it has anything to do with people catching up, but the point system should reflect a persons ability in the game not how long they play. this would give people like chantz and bloodlust a distinct advantage over people with kdr’s way below theirs.also, i think it would be cool if you added a new way of getting points for successive kills. kind of like getting a bounty, but if you get 3 kills-1 point 5 kills-2 point 7 kills – 3 points and so on… of course without dying. im not sure if this could be done, but it would definately help the point systems ability to judge who is the best player.
As evidenced by this thread, we’ve had trouble with raising the point limit before and I think most people are happy with it at 15. I would be extremely hesitant to make it more dependent on KDR than it already is. I don’t want a 10 minute streak to negate a days worth of regular play.
If this is something you feel strongly about create a vote thread and we can see how the community feels.

I felt better when Quake 3 got more votes than CS1.6 when we were deciding on games to play at the last LAN.
You have to see a shuttle yourself to really grasp just how large it is, a picture really doesn’t do it justice. Same goes for a Saturn 5, if you’ve ever walked the length of the one they have on display you realize just how powerful we are as a nation when we devote ourselves to achieveing a goal.
Having said that, the shuttles themselves need to be mothballed and modern replacements built. Considering few cars that old still run I can’t imagine why they want to continue using them, especially with their $20 billion per year budget. However, considering also that the currently planned replacement is actually a step backwards technologically, I can’t say I won’t miss the shuttle.
Using the Ares 5 for putting stuff in orbit is fine, having a re-entry vehicle that rides a Saturn5 style rocket up and splash lands is not worth $20 billion/year in thinking or engineering.
Since this is 1.6 I’d have to admit to hacking. My hack makes it so I don’t have to shoot at people to hit them and if I have the AWP it makes it so I can completely miss them but still kill them.
O wait, nvm, that’s built directly into the 1.*edited* engine. By bad.

I’m thinking about using my wonderously popular admin abuse powrs and resetting your post count to 1. I’d lose adminCP but it’d be well worth it.

Doom3 on the highest settings in a dark room is scary. Bioshock is too weird to be scary.
It is good nonetheless and was worth the $25 I paid. Orange Box at $25 was a better buy though.
