Unfortunately you need 50 meaningful posts before you can be an admin. It proves that you are not only active in te server but are also active in the community as a whole.
An easy alternative to forum posts is to be a student at WCU but it’s not cost effective if you only want admin.
There are enough active threads to get about 4-6 good posts per day. That means after about 2 weeks you should meet the requirement.

There are a number of people who are very active in the CS/CSS servers but are rejected for not having a high enough post count. It’s nothing personal. Just get the post count up and you’ll usually get it same day.
Yeah and after I realized my post count wasn’t high enough I felt like a moran because I specifically read everything and couldnt find that rule….even though its basically common sense.
Don’t feel bad, like I said you aren’t the first. Liam has modified the application to check the post count.

Like, if someone has less than 50 posts and hits submit, will they get a message saying they don’t qualify? I’m almost curious enough to test it out… but I’ll wait.

I know what it does, but I’m asking WHERE the change is. Can’t you read? I asked if this change to the app makes something pop up after you hit submit. It’s obviously not in the app itself. All it asks is the same thing as before: the server you’re applying for, hours, steamID, name, and comment.
Basically, I was asking if they get a message after they hit submit or something.

apply for CS:S admin and find out
If you have more than 50 posts, you’ll never see it.
You can’t start threads in Admin Apps anyway. You have to use the application program.
To help out I guess. That’s why I applied for admin anyways. Like I said in my application, having a competetive CS background and bringing that into the pub scene and admining I think I would do things a little differently.
I guess everyone wants to bring something different to the table that they think would help the server.

Aiming for 50 for admin aiming to beat your amount of postage for my time on cs…and i want to be admin cause I am on really late and dont have a lot to do and sometimes wish there was an admin there….aka me!
