I been trying to help you guys find a fix since im the only one who decided to write about the bullet registration problem but it seems its heading the same as the last thread. Now its not my wireless because the WCU server have runned perfect before, but eversince it was updated/changed before summer it been ever since schiess for some of us. here i been trying to say you guys runs some bongus settings on the server in comparison with others and that bring unfair disadvantages to us who suffer, but it seems you guys just skip right over the part where i wrote that its not Wireless, I tested and Checked, and I even now checked with cable and there is nada change, still horrible lag spike.
and to Yahoo, Im not trying to say that the server is *edited* because im not Uberalles, but rather than that there are some *edited*ed up moments where people in vents do not take any damage but are *edited*ing out with blood and the wall behind is completely filled with holes, yet the person can kill you with one shot when you behind a wall, over and over again, and the biggest problem is with a sniper, unbelievable that I and some have to wait for persons to stop walking for a sec or two and then shoot in hope of a bullet might register.
I said *edited* it because this is going to be a remake of last thread. so *edited* it, I had it with trying to see if something could be done to help others with the bad ping registration and then have to take *edited* for ignorant people.

2. Repeat step 1.
3. Repeat step 2.
4. Vsync doesn’t mess with your mouse. It simply limits the FPS to your vertical sync on your monitor, since you’ll never see more than that in FPS anyway. (The human eye cannot see more than 60 fps anywho so its all moot.)
5. You haven’t seen the server.cfg. Stop telling us what settings it has. You cannot see what the server forces you to use anyway. It simply sets it if you don’t meet the requirements.
6. Arguing on the internet is like being in the special olympics. Just because you win doesn’t mean you’re not retarded at the end of the day.
7. Repeat step 3.

Or, as has already been suggested, your wireless is causing an issue and/or you should enable vsync.
Wireless B/G/A/N is still wireless and still will drop random packets because wireless is fail.

Don’t get me wrong: I know we have issues with registry. However, the majority of issues can be resolved by fixing your own settings to fit the server you’re on.

Are you on wireless? If so, that can cause issues.
I don’t have any problems with registration at all and I have 0 choke.

I think it is obvious from liquid calling me “hitlerburger” in the chat box, then throw in raven and lockem supporting Nazi jokes on top of that, and toran who called me a Nazi in the cs server a while back and we got ourselves a nice little play date here don’t we. I think I have kept quiet about it long enough. Everyone here thinks it is all fun and games. My post was originally and specifically to call the hitlerburger situation into question to let them know to stop and they wanted to confront me about it so I’ll just update you on the back history of it. I hope you enjoy it because I absolutely love being insulted and called Hitler and a Nazi. Don’t expect me to be nice when you have admin/club members who support this garbage.
Then why is the first time you’ve said something?
If you don’t notify anyone, nothing can be done.
That kind of stuff will not be tolerated at all.
If they would like to continue, then they can take a few days off from the forums and gaming servers.
You behave, give them a chance to behave now, and if they don’t, report it.
Lets get a handle on this issue so we don’t have this kind of crap anymore.

Click your name in the top right. Go to ‘My Settings’ then go to the last tab. It’s listed there.

This is…amusing, to say the least. WCU Gaming doesn’t answer to SGA, never has, probably never will. If the console gamers are dead set on killing the club, then by all means, continue on this path. If not, get your head out of the sky and think about what you are doing.
How many good people have been driven off because of actions such as these.
Secondly, josrocket, say your piece, stop stirring up needless drama, and move on. (Modified – I misread the minutes, fail on my part.)
Finally, this place is about creating a community. It is about having fun. It is about bringing students to WCU.

I would have gone to WCU had I found this place a year before I did, unfortunately, I didn’t, and so that was off of the table. I did however, dump hundreds of hours of my time and hundreds of dollars of my personal money into this club, trying to help it grow, succeed, and be better.
If after everything, Adam talks me into coming back, and you guys throw it down the toilet, while I won’t be happy, at least I will be given an out before I again spend too much of my little remaining free-time doing things here.
Think before you act. What to you may seem to be a small detail, may cause long-lasting reprecussions and start a downward spiral thats hard to pull out of.

I haven’t hooked anyone up in a while, hopefully I remember how to do it correctly. MasterP posted what he did as a general warning to reduce the idiot off-topic troll posts being thrown up. While we all love discussion and fun, we don’t like trolls, goblins, hobbits, ephraims, or any of that type of critter.
FYI: I moved the spam posts to the ‘Random’ discussion forum.
Please keep the non-club discussion things in their correct places in the future so as to make life easier on the board moderators.

The swear filter has been implemented into the ShoutBox. This will cause the ShoutBox to filter swearing if you are either not logged in or have the swear filter enabled on your profile.

Question: I usually like to use my own smilies, so I always check off the box to disable smilies before submitting a post (well, occasionally I won’t). I know there’s an option to do so in my account settings, but the option to view posted images is thrown in with the disable smilies option. Is there any way to make it so that they’re two separate things? I want to be able to view images… I just don’t want graphical smilies. @_@
Unfortunately, since that is a stock IPB setting, while I could go in and change the code to correct this, its honestly not worth the amount of time it would take.
At this point, I would have to say no, its not feasible in the amount of hours it would take to make this change to justify it.

If you get any errors of ‘nopermission’ when attempting to use the ShoutBox, then you need to clear your browser cache and do Shift+Refresh in order to make the browser re-download the javascript and ajax files to your computer. (This was an issue and was something I had to correct. Cached copies of these files will still have the old issue unfortunately though.)
