I’m all for giving more power to the students… but I think that the Webmaster and the CL’s are positions that should be able to voice some say. Especially after all the work Liam has done and the CL’s including me.
If nothing else please employ some form of recognition.

hmm I rip ’em all the time. She keeps saying she’s less and less attracted to me.. but I keep forgetting.
I think I’ve gotten so comfortable that I’ve lost the ability to hold them in anyway.
It would be a learning tool. Say you get stumped on a really hard puzzle and you only want it to give you a hint .. .or maybe just find one square. My intention is to make it so that it will solve one square and then give a verbose explanation of how it found that square. Or it might see that a square can be found and highlight it so that the users can look there to find a number as a hint. It uses many of the common methods for solving sudoku already.
Anyway, it’s a long way from that, but I’m applying for some jobs so I needed to have something to show possible employers.
The forums were here before them… the forums were here before me. Aside from the members, the forums are the club in my opinion.
I also think this thread is pointless. There is a clear separation between consoles and PC within the club already. There is no reason to separate it any further unless someone is thirsty for more power.
Can’t comment on when the server goes up, but I agree with Master P. We need to have HLstatsX, FPS Boost, and a Good Rotation upon start-up to make sure that people who happen upon our servers come back.
That is the main point of this thread to come up with a good rotation to put on there. As bored of the maps I’m sure everyone has been in the past, I think it might be better to get that going on start-up and then bring in some new maps..
But now we have more problems. The semester is coming to a close and Summer is all but here. Anything we do now will have to survive the Summer drought of CSS players. This may require some more thinking on our part.

From what I understand terrorist do things to inspire fear in their enemies. Obviously kidnapping inspires fear but only to the people who were involved and not to the country as a whole. I think these people obviously are a little off their rockers and committed kidnapping and should be punished harshly for it. I don’t think they meant to hurt anyone or inspire any fear, so I don’t believe they should be considered terrorists.

Let’s get some things straight .. I’m sure not everyone believes as I do so I will clarify that this thread is assuming that there will be an anti-christ as described in the Bible.. If you want an argument about religion or personal beliefs regarding the how the Bible is to be interpreted, then you should start another topic.
Either way, I’m in no way convinced Obama is the anti-christ and I really started this as a joke. It just seems to me that the end of certain freedoms that were originally guaranteed by the constitution combined with the ever encroaching government is more and more signaling the end of what makes America great and in my mind would be the start to the end of the world as I know it.
Hate is a very strong word. I will remind you that racism works two ways; one of those is assuming someone else is racist. I don’t hate him. The point is that the man is *edited*ing up.

So anyway, in 2012, after President Obama (the anti-christ) has sufficiently weakened our economy, Bin Ladden will notice our weaknesses and blow up major cities all over the US.. In a rash but planned exodus, Obama will launch a Nuclear war which will be answered by Nuclear weapons pointed at the United States. We will intercept a few but we won’t be able to shoot down all of them and will eventually die. The end of the world.

It’s a business. If you want non-profit look into charities. There are bad insurance companies that exploit their clients, but there are a lot of good ones too. If you really want to make a difference change it back to insurance companies being able to sell insurance to other states. The sheer competition would cause improvement in health care far faster than this Bill ever would.

So a doctor is forced to provide surgery, even if its a million dollar operation, in order to save someone’s life, but hey you’re on your own after 100k so says the insurance company. i.e. a liability.

they can’t do that unless it is specified in the policy… which is a contract that everyone should read before they sign.. all of this is regulated by each state that the insurance company resides in.
They really can’t just drop you.
