mmkay… perhaps we add in an extra bit to the equation to scale the points per kill by the weapon modifier within 2-5 points or something? still if we forget scaling per weapon the awp’s will take off. also, we should leave flashbang and smoke grenade kills at a well-earned amount, say 30+ ppk
official print-off: 60 of the two color ones like previous fliers, each. 30 of the black and white one gxti did as well.

sorry we forgot about your amendment, as well as a few other things. I would print them off and tape them to my monitor so I don’t forget but the next meeting is in the fall, so it’d still go missing.

)I have successfully threaded together the images into a contiguous .avi. GO MENCODER FOR LINUX!!!. however, i used the wrong demo and the wrong resolution (whoopsies)
I have Oh Malley’s vids and will get Dice’s demos… I have cs:s bots demo’d because the ones I had were too player-choppy. If anyone has cs:s demos that are clean, let me know. and if there’s any others, get them to me. However, let it be noted that i can currently only get .dem’s into a gajillion .png’s, and can’t yet thread them all together. .avi files are golden. alright chitlins, i got to go get ready for lab soon.
I think awps are just a matter of how good or how cheap the person using them is… I was playing T on assault (later I switched), and I got bored waiting around and bought an awp just for *edited*s and giggles… I went up and noscoped in the vents, where you’re pretty screwed anyway, then once that died down I went to the roof and started cleaning up outside. I singlehandedly took out most of the team, and proceeded to take lots of heat for awping
I then knife camped the vent (uneventful) for a round or two, then joined ct… the last round when everyone had the same plan, they actually won (imagine that)
So I’ll try not to convince people to restrict the awp on all the maps around, if I can help it. But a word of advice, if you’re awping and I knife rush and stab you to death and steal your awp, don’t whine if I tear apart your team with your awp
and i’m working on the linux version of the how-to. and yes it does involve wine
right now it’s complaining about codecs… so i’m looking for info’s
I has goldeneye64, mariokart64, a nintendo64, and 3 controllers. no expansion pack but it isn’t used.
We’ll discuss game times no doubt, whether or not it will make a difference is yet to be determined
we’ll probably talk about the video i throw together, to make sure I has the club’s blessing (despite the video being late already

I’ll probably suggest talking to haxors first if they’re using minimal hax, and not totally destroying the gameplay

The project is now active. I want videos, and not youtube’d. demo’s are alright, I just need to get those converted, which shouldn’t be too hard. AKA running linux, playing them back, either capturing it right of the screen there or piping it out on svideo to tvcapture. So if you can get them to .avi beforehand that would be extraordinary.
Eh, I’d rather try to pull off both, if that is feasible. At the very least, after seeing the internet do it’s funky dance like it did earlier, I am agreed teamspeak would be at the very least a good failsafe in the same way the local irc could be. Plus, for when I am running linuxes, teamspeak is much less painful. Vent takes some 2nd-level configuration, emulation, etc. etc. Teamspeak is a simple installer. Still, in the end I am not saying I am against vent, it actually picks up on my MOUSE5 out of the box
. IF we have the capacity, I’d say Vent gets the primary mention and Teamspeak is there as a backup / failsafe.Ah, I now know I is leaving around 1:30. I’m trying to cram all mah linux configurations and updates in, so I may not even get any source. But I has HL2 installed, so that should be enuf
so, i’m watching the votes and still don’t see any alarmingly good vote counts. I’m thinking t th at 7 is popular enough, next time i’m free i’ll idle it.
anywho, before easter break i was gonna try to pull off another like we just did tonight. Assuming I’m still on campus that is. I’m catching a ride back home, and don’t have a choice in the whens. Wed. at 7, if i’m around, i’m jumping in. No sooner, because I will prolly be playing lots of cs:s to keep me satisified for break
I’ll probably just come by and knock once I can get started on this project… knocking out a couple of actual assignments at teh moment
