TV 62 advertisement production

First of all, I will attempt to get a upload directory up soon so we can actually bring these vids together.

 

Demos are lovely, and tv cap’d consoles are extremely good. If we can get those in we can all start working on putting this beast of a commercial together.

 

We decided at the meeting that we don’t want to try a storyline thing this time around, so just break out demos of you being awesome and we’ll put them together and you very well might appear on tv62 🙂

Oh yes, just remembered one last thing, whoever decides on the music that will be used, its imperative that we use non-copyrighted music, otherwise tv62 cannot put it up, so here is a link that should get us started for music.

I am sure there are plenty of other music sites out there like this, but we really have to make sure it is royalty-free or tv62 can’t use it, just a reminder and I hope this commercial is awesome!!!

The project is now active. I want videos, and not youtube’d. demo’s are alright, I just need to get those converted, which shouldn’t be too hard. AKA running linux, playing them back, either capturing it right of the screen there or piping it out on svideo to tvcapture. So if you can get them to .avi beforehand that would be extraordinary.

my youtubr demos were their to show, i have the .dem files “IF” they are goign to be used.

I have Oh Malley’s vids and will get Dice’s demos… I have cs:s bots demo’d because the ones I had were too player-choppy. If anyone has cs:s demos that are clean, let me know. and if there’s any others, get them to me. However, let it be noted that i can currently only get .dem’s into a gajillion .png’s, and can’t yet thread them all together. .avi files are golden. alright chitlins, i got to go get ready for lab soon.

I have successfully threaded together the images into a contiguous .avi. GO MENCODER FOR LINUX!!!. however, i used the wrong demo and the wrong resolution (whoopsies)
