the servers will be up soon enuff they needed to do some work on them and it takes time … and about won ids lol i have been playing sence beta 3 i know all about steams and valves troubles i think its funny
hmm in all that i failed to see anything said by the President of the gaming club about how people acted you guys know what ma_chat is its admin only chat you don’t fight in open chat it don’t matter who you are or how much power you fill you have . There is a reason for ma_chat its so admins can talk to each other and not put server problems in open chat . and yes if I’m in the server and people ask for another map i will start a vote because if 3/4 of the server isn’t cool with a map they will leave then you will have yourself a empty server and then it won’t matter if you like map votes or not . but it would be nice to see some of the executive council members posting about this since it has become such a problem

Why? Because the CTs -listened-, we swapped strategies, kept it fresh, and noone just wandered inside to get killed. We’d pick off a few T’s, smoke them for a distraction, wait 30secs, charge and BAM. CTs win on Assault!

weather it is meant in a hurtful way or not we have never allowed the -N- bomb to be used in the servers . because what is hurtful to one may not be to another person . so we just didnt allow it in any case and it was fine now we are to deside if it was meant in a hurtful manner this is becoming to much like a real job just playing the freaking game my god

bitey i know and i also know i baned a guy for haveing the same tag on and was told after finding out it was a regular to our server that you DO NOT BAN ANYONE WITHOUT first haveing a demo

yes freeman demos if you perma ban someone from a wcu server you have to have a demo to show as to why you baned them in the first place … we may need to repost the rules for admins as in dealing with demos for perma bans there are rules that must be followed . you cannt just perma ban someone because you donnt like them or you {think} that there hacking you must have proof and the stats page isnt hard proof
well i guess i’ll say something here since i mainly play source now. Its funny how when our source server was gone no one wanted to give ideas or thoughts about it and myself and another posted so much to have the source server back and we Finley got it back online now i see that people want different maps on it now . hmmm well what i want to know is where all these people have been that are complaining when I’m in the server most that play there know I’m a admin yet never ask for a map to be changed as i see other admins seem to be having a lot of people asking or say it is said they are . Its funny you can always tell when new admins are added because they always want to change stuff on servers to make it what they like here’s a hint for you you can never make everyone happy all the time yes you will have some people that will come to the server and have something to say about a map that they don’t like but the way i look at it if a map was voted on by the people that are playing then those same people should not be complaining about it because they are the ones that got the map put on it to begin with in short it isn’t broke so why are you trying to fix it ………

actuly wcu isnt the only server that is haveing this problem it was/is a bug in steam it hit me a while back and then went away i have found a few things that can help out those that are getting this problem. first if you donnt use a wireless connections shuting down the wireless function in you sys config fig at times will fix the problem . others time will get rid of it
Well the thing about just haveing the top 3 admin to be able to start a map vote could be a verry bad thing at times . Like when it is changed to a map that is killing the server and neather of the admin that have the power to change it are on
actually i think there 2nd 3rd for the fact that the nade drop needs to be put on a custom server and not the regular 1.6 server
and we need to lose the /admins commend it makes it hard to spec people when all they have to do it /admins to find outr who is a admin and know when they can use hacks and such stuff
it seems that there are people that want to change the server to something else . witch is a very bad thing the reason people come to our server is we are not like the rest . the {rest} being with a lot of bs scripts on the server that does nothing but kill the game itself . But if this is the path the the gaming club wants to take it it was really fun playing on the server post plug-in time . it seems that a lot of the changes are mainly being done by the newer people if it wasn’t broke why try fixing it
ok and did you come to our website/or irc and ask for a admin to come to the server there is a contact list that has all over the admins and there aim/MSN info . It would be alot easer to deal with this problem if a admin is contacted so they can see this happening instead of haveing a screenshot posted
jelly or kore what is the servers upload speed and its max upload speed i know neither of you will prob not respond till after monday
can anyone post what yall have tryed so far so we know what has been tryed to help narrow down the problem

well something else isnt fixed because it still lags like a *edited*
hmmm how is the server connected to the network? via a router? a strait pipe line ? or cat 5 cable ran from a modem
i would’nt worry to much about where the server is ranked because if the servers lag problem doesnt get fixed it want go to much lower but will rase to higher than we were to start with
some one needs to fix the admin mod for source if im on the admin list then i would be able to use it so this tells me eather the wrong steam id was entered or something else is wrong
i try to keep it in hand when I’m on the server i am sorry that you had to hear those comments towards your. I will continue to try and make sure racist comments are not being used when I’m in the server and racist names are not being used . If you can the next time it happens hopefully it won’t please go to our irc channel i think were adding a link to it to the website to better help our guests of the server in there times of need
