I’ve got it. While I think some reviewers are going a little overboard by calling it “one of the best platformers ever” it really is good. The graphics are beautiful and the platforming is very clever. It also becomes quite difficult in the later stages. While the original DKC games could be challenging, they were rarely as tough as this new one. I think of Donkey Kong Country Returns not as a new game in the series, but as the beginning of a new series inspired by the previous series. While thre are many homages to the first Donkey King Country, the gameplay is different enough that I believe it could be counted as being apart of its own franchise.

Nobody here is being a *edited*. Just calling attention to people who aren’t doing their jobs or pointing out the flaws in bad ideas.
I once asked my Japanese professor what he would do if North Korea ever attacked Japan. He said he would join the Japanese army to defend his country. Then it hit me that once all the American otaku realized that all their anime and manga were in danger, they would probably join too. What a weird thought…

I’m pretty sure there are no red words in the upper-right corner. However, I can tell you that I use a wireless connection and I’m in a pretty remote location. The internet connection has been kind of flakey in the past. I’m kind of hoping it’s a connection problem and not something more along the lines of a video card problem. That would be tough to fix.
