Scout is fun. Equip the metal club and run in and see how much damage you can do before you die lol.
Heavy is ok too, team a heavy with a good medic w/uber, and you’re unstoppable.
helltoupe is irrelevant, he already admitted to intentionally trying to be kicked.
This is about pokerstar and whether or not he was blocking.
Now, I spec’d, and followed him. While in spec, he was moving, no blocking what so ever, yet at the same time people were still yelling at him. This puzzeled me. At that point I told people to calm down.
I checked, and its not your call to question that. I did all I could. End of discussion.

I hope there is no hard feelings cause I do not mean for there to be. I am not mad at you nor do I dislike you, I was just mearly giving my side of the story so that I did not get looked upon as someone irrational.
Thats just it, I didn’t make any mistakes. I checked him out, didn’t see any blocking at the time, therefore there was nothing I could do. I can’t just kick people on your word, or anybody elses word. I have to check it out myself. I wasn’t wrong, I made no mistakes, I did my job, end of story.

I have no problem with you and have been admin before in a few different servers and know its not always easy to catch hackers/bad players/etc, but while you say you checked him out thoroughly…it only took me 3 rounds to get good enough demo’s.
I will find a new host for the demo’s and link them. ASAP.

I did my job. I checked him out, saw nothing. Maybe if you would have posted these demos in the first place, this whole problem could have been avoided.
I have it on good authority that when people are breaking server rules, they tend to stop when an admin is present.
I didn’t get owned by anybody. This guy can complain all he wants, but FROM WHAT I SAW, the only person acting up was helltoupe. I hate a blocker as much as the next guy, but I didn’t see anything out of the ordinary from Pokerstar….no blocking, no nothing. I assure you, had I seen him blocking, I would have done something about it, but helltoupe, because you felt the need to test me, and you already openly admitted to trying to be kicked, you need to learn that respect goes both ways.
You TRIED to get kicked, I don’t see how the client treatment policy comes into play here if you literally TRIED to get kicked?
I used my better judgement and did what needed to be done. End of story.
On another note, this is why I switched to source. People tend to be more mature on source.
I didn’t insult anyones intelligence. I checked it out, saw nothing, and moved on.
Congrats on admining CAL, you must be proud of that. Just one small tidbit though, this isn’t CAL. Sounds to me like you are merely trying to roll back on what you said in the first post. You blatantly TRIED to get kicked. I think thats enough to end this discussion.
I gotta be honest. I checked this guy out thoroughly tonight. Not only did I spec him, but I switched teams and followed the guy….and while all these people were yelling at/about him on their mics, I didn’t see anything in the way of blocking…..I’m just being honest here.
I didn’t appreciate getting all the “kick him now”, and when I didn’t, all the “you suck as an admin” quotes. Thats not nice. I wanted to make sure I was doing the right thing, had I in fact kicked him. But I didn’t see anything wrong with his playing.
Sorry, I’ve done all I can do. Maybe if you can get a demo showing otherwise, it might help.
For the record, I did in fact spec him, for 1 round, and found it odd at all the yelling, but he wasn’t doing any blocking.
Poker wasn’t blocking, lol. I followed the guy around, I hadn’t seen any block. I wanted to make sure before I kicked him. I kicked you because, well, your ranting on the mic was rediculous to say the least. Can’t have that man. And your constant demands of “kick this guy now” etc. Your “you suck as an admin”. Dude, who peed in your corn flakes?? Respect goes both ways, and your behavior was unacceptable.
However what I am failing to understand is, why would you appeal it as a ban? Whats wrong with you?

So, you were basically asking to be kicked? You wanted me to kick you so in turn you could complain?
This isn’t Mac Vs. PC, its Mac OS X vs. Windows. Get that straight. You can run both operating systems on both sets of hardware, flawlessly.
Mac is good for some things, such as design, web developement, video editing, basically anything multimedia related mac does better.
Windows is good for games. Which is really all that NEEDS to be said for Windows.
If it means anything, this entire site was designed on the Mac platform. A Macbook Pro to be specific.

Nice to see your opinions sephy. I wasn’t power tripping. In fact, I used very little power, which is about all the power I have. I was merely enforcing the “would be” rules. If you don’t like the rules, the very same rules that are written here in this forum, and on the server, than it appears you have put yourself at a stalemate, friend.
If you need a headset, I HIGHLY recommend the Logitech USB headset. Can’t beat the quality of USB for gaming, and pretty much anything that requires a good mic. Sounds like you’re there in the flesh.
Adam first told me to get one, and I’ll never look back. You can get the premium version of the less costly one. The premium version is around $50. Regular at about $30.
The only difference between the premium and standard version is basically higher volume tolerance and less wear and tear.

He merely tried to explain to you, more than once because you were being an inconsiderate prick, that what he was saying was not racist, because he knew the person, and thats something they say all the time, and he couldn’t even get that far without being excessively gagged and/or banned.

Aside from that, I STILL think it would be a good idea to have some sort of age limit for the admins. 18 or over, and this place might be a whole lot better without children abusing their admin.
I’m not really quite sure why you keep this little *edited* around, after all he’s done, all the times hes been banned, all the people that hate his *edited* guts, and you keep him around anyway, theres people who haven’t been half the prick Urban is and have gotten banned, yet he’s still here. Blaspemy.
