That sounds weird to me man. Did you just change to Windows 7 or did you transport the computer first or something?
makes sense, it’s just disappointing. SO once a tuner card has a more advanced input I’ll be able to do it.
What a sad sad day! So you’re saying that plugging the coax into the STB upgrades the signal, and then shooting it into the tuner with a coax is basically downgrading the signal again?
I was just editing, heh. I have verizon fios. To access any of their good channels (other than 2-49), you need a set top box. I am curious on how you connect their service to a tv tuner card (do I plug in a coaxle from the wall, do I need to plug the coax out from the STB, etc. Thanks
ps- it seems like something called “IR Blaster” allows the tuner card to control the set-top-box? Is that the case?

I also have fios! I imagine if I plug this in from the coax out on the fios box it should work?
Using windows 7 now. I have $75 free to spend from a referral site online. I’ll sink in the rest needed for a tv tuner card. Can someone link me to a few tv tuner cards (newegg is fine) that would be a good purchase. I guess link to the most economical (that works), and the best.
I should throw out there that all I really need is to monitor the Topic of the channel (in real time, though). Thanks.

No offence xenocide, but you are the only one bringing this up as a problem. I don’t see why this issue is being changed considering the large majority seems to enjoy it. It adds another dimension to cs, something kinda unique to our server. You seem to be the only person to feel that this is an improvement to the server….
I can’t believe PTB has been changed. One complaint and we changed it??? Most of the people I play with LOVE killing people at the end of every round. It is good times. Turn it back!
All I have to say is that I LOVE being able to kill people after rounds end. I think is is SOOO funny and when I know someone gets mad about it I make sure to target them!
Heh, I’m spending so much on a camera because it interests me. Also, point and shoot cameras have SOOOO many drawbacks (and I’ve missed too many fun pictures with them).
