Is there a way to monitor the content of a irc channel? I want to be able to write a script that can interpret it, so I need a way to have a program monitor an irc channel, check it every so often, and update a file on my pc whenever the topic changes. Is that possible?
I should throw out there that all I really need is to monitor the Topic of the channel (in real time, though). Thanks.
