spies are plenty strong with ff off. Its easy to get kills with them if you know how to play them right. I would say its possible that they would be too strong if ff was on. Its so easy to backstab half the opposing team before they realize you are there, especially in servers with max populations of 11 or 16 or so.

In other news, when is the server going to be operational? I tried to join a couple days ago and it said i couldn’t because of different versions or something. I never see anyone in it.

let us know when its ready, i need a regular server to play on with people who will work together instead of run around randomly. I think the game will be a lot more fun with people who use intricate teamwork

I do have an ATI card, but I still don’t see where the catalyst control center is… I have a gig of RAM so I really don’t think not having enough is the problem.

Does anyone know if I would be able to run TF2, even on lowest settings, with a laptop with this…

    Intel Pentium M Processor 2.00GHz

    Intel Graphic Media Accelerator 900

    ATI Mobility Radeon X300 64MB

    1GB of RAM

I don’t know much about computers btw

The study of philosophy is just something of a hobby for me, I’m a psychology major myself. However, of what I have read I enjoy Nietzche’s works in particular. Also, I think C.S. Lewis’s nonfiction that I’ve read is laughable.

Hello touchdown, I’m Toadvine, and my computer has been broken for the past 2 1/2 weeks, but hopefully i’ll be back in the server soon. Also, to answer your earlier question, I am interested in philosophy and theology.

Yeah, team stacking has been a problem in the server since i started playing here. Its just more obvious now since the regulars that are stacking have tags in front of their names… Just ignore seph, all he does is *edited* and moan because he starts dying.

Well I took it back to the tech people at clemson and now they are replacing the motherboard and graphics card. I told them i thought it might be overheating but i didn’t seem to convince anyone… Interesting that I told them the first day I took it that I thought it was a problem with the graphics card and now they’re finally getting around to looking at that… Now I won’t get my computer back until like wednesday, this blows.

So i’m pretty sure my computer is overheating because when the error came up last i felt the bottom of my laptop and it was really hot. A new battery will fix this most likely?

using the awp is simple goat. stand and shoot your opponent’s chest or head. just don’t try to strafe or anything when firing it or your bullet gets sucked into microscopic black holes that form around your target. personally i find it a boring gun though, i like things that explode, but alas cs:s is short on such guns (patiently waiting for TF2)

computer is getting fixed in clemson supposedly, although they’ve had it for a week and still say its in progress. so i can’t play any cs until i get it back. my only internet is my off and on visits to my dad’s work

Haha, very nice. I’m in a similar predicament. No photo but I have to sit in the corner of my house because thats the only place I can pick up wireless from across the street. I set my laptop on a coffee table and have to pull it up flush with the couch and sit cross-legged on the couch so I can get internet, and its still kind of in and out. I get such annoying leg cramps from sitting like that leaned forward so i can reach my computer, it really sucks.

the fan still makes noise when I’m doing demanding tasks so I don’t think its broken. But you’re saying it could be the battery that is defective? This could be possible because there was a battery recall on my type of laptop but my computer’s serial number wasn’t on the list of recalled batteries. However, today after they failed to fix my computer and I brought it home the blue screen came up when I wasn’t playing a game.

Yeah, but they told me today they fixed it and i just got home and tried to use it and the error came up again. Those *edited* liars… I guess I have to call them and *edited* them out some but now I have to go to work and it must wait.

Liam is right, rank doesn’t always mean you’ll do well on a map. I have a pretty high rank but some maps I’m terrible on like contra, cbble, sometimes office, etc.
