SK is a strange game to me. Up until about a week ago I could barely get a 1:1 kill to death ratio on it, but the last three or four times I’ve played it I’ve gone something like 24 and 6 against server regulars which is much better than I do on regular maps. I haven’t changed my mouse or internet connection so it isn’t that. Just wondering if there is some trick to the map that I discovered without realizing it or if I’ve just been getting lucky.
It kinda clicks for everyone, you do really bad and then you get an intuitive feel for the game and you will be rocking at it for a while and then your skill will level out at it.
You probably started moving more. The trick to SK is to stay moving. Any of the 4 SK gods (Kuros, Flakes, Brian, and DT) will tell you that.
haahhahaha thinking about it I probably wouldn’t tell you that, but it is *edited* good advice. Close the distance with the enemy, also learn to noscope too. I know I have made at least one person (buddha) cry in his sleep from bull*edited* noscoping.
Most hilarious shot i have ever made was a random noscope to the head of flakes across sk3 while we were both flying, i nearly fell out of my chair.
yeah, I think I have started moving more and jumping less. It was really shocking to me that I started doing so well on a sniper map since I hardly ever snipe in fps games. I wish cs had a rocket launcher

Do the bullets ‘fall’ over distance like real bullets? I know they’re not affected by wind since there isn’t any, but anyways…there’s my dumb question of the day..I mean hour.

I never knew and sometimes would adjust for it automatically. Ghost Recon has drop so do a few other games I’ve played.

Trick to SK is flying around and knifing! Screw you dorks that like to shoot dudes that are flying through the air!
lol yeah, you’d surprised how many ppl cannot no scope. and by the time they hear that first stab, (if not in the back) they usually dont even hit you once before they flop around in the low grav.
