In terms of play time I have to work around a teaching/coaching schedule, so that typically means some days I am really busy and other days not so much.

Sounds good to me. If you don’t have my steam it’s shingiyui. I didn’t buy the game through steam though but since it doesn’t really use Steam that’s not a problem. Just message me when you want to play.
Get Borderlands. You’ll have so much more fun. And if you can run L4D on your laptop you’ll be able to run Borderlands just fine.
Now that Borderlands came out I play that a lot. I also play Gears of War and L4D. On the PC side of things I play TF2 and L4D.

First off I would like to say THANK YOU!!!!! to No Dice for these settings. The way you had them for the last TF2 tourney were amazing so thank you. These rules are pretty much the same.
The match setup will be as follows. Pretty standard double elimination style bracket.
Team Size – 5
Number of teams – 4 (Will adjust depending on the number of players)
Maps:
2Fort
DustBowl
GoldRush
Badlands
Round 1
– Team 1 vs Team 2 > Team 1 wins
– Team 3 vs Team 4 > Team 3 wins
Round 2
– Team 1 vs Team 3 > Team 1 wins (advances to the final)
– Team 2 vs TEam 4 > Team 2 wins (Team 4 eliminated)
Round 3
– Team 2 vs Team 3 > Winner advances to final
– Team 1 vs Team 4 / Fun match just for fun on a fun map. (FUN!!!!)
Round 4
– Team 1 vs (Winner of Team 2 vs Team 3)
Upgrades/Unlockables
All items are allowed if you have them unlocked.
Class Limit Structure – Since there are only going to be teams of 5 each team is limited to 1 person per class.
Tie Breaker
All scouts / first to capture the center point on Well or Granary

I am going to have a sign up sheet with me, everyone that would like to play need to report to me to sign them in.
On this sheet i will get your name and a skill level 1-10 and please be honest (if you say you are a 10 and suck, your team is more than likely going to loose). This is for you guys, if you lie/cheat, its simply not going to be ran fair. Again come to have fun and be honest.

That video has got to be beta test or something because the actual product looks much better. This game is retarded amounts of fun.
Wow I wasn’t able to make it to this one because of family weekend here at Western. Did you guys have a good turnout?
I haven’t tried any other wireless adapters except for the official Microsoft one. The receiving on it is really good (don’t know about 3 houses down) and I was able to get full signal from across the house. I’m pretty sure the official one is as good as most on board wireless cards that laptops have. So if you are able to pick it up on a laptop you should have a problem with the adapter. As far as going off brand if you can get the same thing do it because the Microsoft adapter is like $100 or it was when I bought it.
I really haven’t heard anything at all about non-official ones though. I do know that Microsoft likes you to use their products so they might try and hinder the effectiveness of other products. But that’s up to you what you wanna do.

He is referring to some of the responses in this thread. He didn’t like the “attitude” that was portrayed. The “attitude” was Console people want to kill the PC side. And I believe Thor is right. I am technically console since that is mostly what I play but I love the PC side just as much and both sides make up the entirety of the club.
Matchmaking is horrible in general. I hate nothing more than logging into a game and playing with a bunch of randoms that just quit mid-way through the match. Just look at GoW2. Gears of War was awesome (no matchmaking) Gears of War 2 has died so fast it isn’t even funny (match making + ranking system). I feel it’s gonna have the same affect on MW2 for the PC.
I agree with Adam this topic has brought too much attention to just not have a meeting now. Obviously this situation is only gonna get worse if we delay working it out so I suggest you keep the meeting for this Thursday.

Siding with the alumni? No you are actually being reasonable. The very fact that this has even been brought up is ridiculous.
Thanks Dice. And having a bi-weekly official TF2 night sounds good to me. I do however want to do this again next weekend. After that I think we can move to bi-weekly. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions on what we should do for the next TF2 night? And also while 2fort is fun I think it would be better to have a rotation of the most popular maps.
Thank you to everyone that showed up tonight it was awesome. I think tonight was an overall all success we actually got the TF2 maxed out at one point. I been playing pretty much all weekend so still feel free to join the server.
