Right now, I’m more inclined to get Borderlands simply because of its style and the fact that it’s got Multiplayer, so my friends and I can lulz around together. But, I feel its probably safer to go with Dragon Age:Origins, since my laptop probably can’t run Borderlands well. I heard somewhere that Randy Pitchford told people that if their computers could run Team Fortress 2 or Left 4 Dead on high settings(this computer can), they could run Borderlands on low settings, but I never found the original article, and as a result, I’m skeptical.

Get Borderlands. You’ll have so much more fun. And if you can run L4D on your laptop you’ll be able to run Borderlands just fine.

Borderlands. I’ve heard the coop mode is quite fun.

Thanks folks, borderlands it is! Perfect too, since I just got a bestbuy coupon for a 10% discount!

    EDIT:

Actually, just a quick question if someone knows… I’m going to be getting the Best Buy copy, since I can get a discount there, instead of the game over steam.

Is there any way I can “sync” the hard copy of the game with my steam account? Aka, I can load the game via steam and don’t need a CD?

The reason I’m asking is that I do know it is possible for several other games.

    EDIT EDIT:

Apparently, while Gearbox was so busy making this game awesome and such, they have forgotten to make copy protection for the game. An acquaintance of mine also tells me that he’s playing in a party of four with his pirated copy… 😐

But, as a clarification for what I asked earlier, since there is no CD key, there is no way for one to “add” borderlands to steam. The only way to do it is to buy it through steam, which I won’t be doing due to my Best Buy coupon.
