okay, okay. you obviously aren’t backdoor badger. nah, someone on the cs:s server using the name backdoor badger was lurking in dark corners and spraying porn sprays all over and wouldn’t stop. I tried catching ’em on demo actually putting one down but he buggered out of the server, and I haven’t seen him since to get his steam_id. lol. he’s on the watch list. I repeal any suspicions of you for that comment. and you’re right there is no club LAN server, we’re full time internet. although it’s always empty. I try playing every now and then but the bots are depressingly boring. if you go to the forum index and click to go back to the main site and click the link at the top for the UT2k4 server it should launch UT2k4 to that server, I think it’s the coolest thing ever. wait, i’m getting horridly off topic….

you’re right this has nothing to do with pizza. to continue, go to the UT2004 forum and I’ll have something there to continue talking about it.

right-o. even today I rushed around and used some deceptive trickery to misconvey my location (shooting up one of those penetrable metal walls) then scramming to get to another entrance before they look there. even running that solo I woulda made it except for this one guy got smart and was camping the hostie return point once he realized I’d broke in and gotten the hosties and was 1 v 1.

Comment: 0_o – there’s still the word ‘online’… hmmmmm, note for consideration. not that it’s bad, but just note that…

ah, and if you double right as you start sinking when you’re about to lose the last of the power, and don’t bounce all the way up, you’ll get a good coast at the end and be able to cover plenty of ground. I think. only tested once.

    is it really that hard?

Unfortunately, thanks to Microsoft’s domination of the computer enterprise and the overpresence of the double click in that OS, people double click everything. Which sends it twice. So people think in two’s. anything just once just ain’t right. normal people see the world that way, and only truly enlightened computer extraordinare’s like us and linux and mac users everywhere get the picture that just once will get it done. So thus Microsoft is causing these annoying double registrations.

 Okay, enough with the bull, I notice this ain’t double clicks or anything, it’s just people paranoid that they forgot something… mention to them that if they’re remembering stuff to post elsewhere in the forums, like, say, lan events, and we’ll make it better… :D

no, no, no. you aren’t 100% clear on albatross… seeing as how I’m reigning champ, let me explain… :D lol.

You want to start off watching the highest albies. get the rhythm down for that round (it changes each round). You want to pop that penguin to get him to the top and hit the alby on the way down. More starting speed good. Don’t click yet, wait till you almost hit the ground and double click it. That equals speed and cruise distance. You prolly won’t bounce higher than the waterline. if so, click once before you hit the sand, pause briefly, and click again. otherwise you’ll pop into orbit and lose all your speed. Any time you go higher than the horizon, you’re safe to go double when the gull almost hits the ground, you won’t jump too high. My rhythm lately has been double off the launch, one <short pause> one, double, one <short pause> one, so on and so forth. Ideally you’ll hit just the perfect height off the first bounce, at the horizon, and you can double and hit the same height every time. I’ve only done that once, and only late, but man can you cruise. but yeah, I’ve had single runs where I darn frickin near hit the 1500 mark:

since we’ll be starting after the standard lunch time, I’d say 1/4 or less of the pizzas at lunch, then the rest for supper. or even further divide it such that we get a few around 11 or 12…

wait, I get it now! NoDice thought the feigning death thing was funny coz it was a TFC trick…. ‘doh! As far as I know that one is present all the way back in the beginnings of UT classic.

okay, upon further research I heard from beyondunreal.com that it’s slated for a 2nd quarter ’07 release… just a couple more months… but then I heard prolly the best news I’ve heard in a while… one can feign death like in the older games. pretty much, someone comes guns blazin, hit that key and you fall limp to the ground. then once they go by hit the key again and you pick yourself up and have some fun. Maybe the oldest trick in the book, but still fun

speakin of the awp’er… man that thing’s got power. some loser put it on the ground while we were playin maybe aztec or whatever it was called, and I gave it a try, and me likes. sure it’s an advantage, that thing could really mess you up, but if the other team plays really smart and picks up a few, well, that’s what turned the game last time. we got so used to aiming really fast and really well, basic rules of survival when you got a piece o crap weapon with the accuracy of a slingshot, and when we got the awp’er, well, just dang.

so, all you cs:s people that’ve seen me give it a good heave-ho, do you like the way i try to keep some unreal tournament style to my gameplay? everything from good ol flat out rushes to kami nades, that’s how I do things. till I’m repeatedly getting screwed by people that catch on, then I have to get crafty. but anywho, how do y’all like my style that cares not for stats but more for rambo style insanity?

plus, in cs:s it don’t get much better than savin up a little, getting the machine gun, sprinting with a knife to where you know everyone is, then bustin that bad boy out and letting loose…

port? tides? dude, sounds like fun! and I actually like the idea… however we need some way to, erm, spay or neuter the system. so that they don’t use rockthevote to throw it back to the same map anyway. or at least if that’s how rockthevote works… and on his behalf, for all 0.000001 cents its worth, I’ve been in the server and seen Killty-Chan many many times…
