I don’t agree with not feeding a kid if they don’t have any money. That is the very wrong way to go. Sure, it might work for a kid who misses out on 1 or 2 payments, but when a kid never has the money, because his parents don’t care about him, that will lead him down a bad path. I knew a lot of kids growing up who depended on the school systems breakfast and lunch, it was the only source of nutrition they got.
If the parents are poor then the kid get the free lunches. If the parents don’t give money cause they don’t care bout there kid then that should go to DSS.
I would have saved my lunch money for other things and ate the free cheese sand and bev for lunch every day if it was available even if it is cold

I don’t have any kind of write up or anything. Its significant loss..around 5%-10% performance loss. I only compared wow. Its not like this is a new discovery…

I have ran tests with comparable hardware with the two os playing WOW. The xp machine always came out on top.
yay, good to hear. As adam said appstates gaming club president was also part of apps linux group (ALUG) and were very successful.
Me and Adambomb once tried to get our gaming club box moved to linux but IT wouldn’t allow it since they don’t have much (if any) knowledge with it and would not be able to monitor, assist, troubleshoot, etc…It is really superior for memory intensive uses and uptime which is ideal for a web/game box.
As adam37 said, everyone has grown up on windows OS’s and that’s all they care to know.
I will see if I can make it. I shld know by Fri. I do have an xbox and ps3 but the only games i have are cod 2 and 4 and 5, gears of war, and halo 3. I am more interested in getting to play games that I haven’t played and especially resistance. Also wouldn’t mind getting to try the killzone demo that josh has.

yes maybe that would help balance it out…would be gr8 to hear from the console CL on some ideas.
