Honestly I think the PC players knew what was going on much better than the console players did.Ditto. I think any delays between announcements and action was more a problem of steam games taking for f.ing ever to do anything than people not paying attention.

ParticipantMore BHO propaganda.
If things keep going like they have the past fews days Mr. Hussein Obama is going to end up having the carpet yanked out from under him, leaving him squarely on his *edited* with no one to pick him up but his most brain-washed supporters. I think you’ll notice in the coming months that the “change” Obama keeps talking about is nothing more than normal Washington politics, he just does a better job (until recently) of hiding it. Telling everyone that he’ll accept public financing if McCain does and then refusing it after McCain locks himself in it is just the kind of crap he’s all about. McCain has ~$80 million max to spend and analysts predict Obama has the potential to raise and spend over $500 million. There’s no way that manuever wasn’t crooked.
I do find it interesting at the number of politicians that the Clintons put in Washington that backstabbed Hillary. Anyone else notice that?

ParticipantThen again, for every lol I don’t know about there’s a lol you don’t know about.

when i worked at DE, i was in a open cube, (low walls) it was set up just like that video on the top. so you can still talk to people and ask questions. As far as the movie office space type cubes,, no way would i do that. EVER. idk if it was a 6figure job. Its just not mEE. I just feel like if i was in a cube, i’m working as a number not a person. And i would not have any aspiration to come to work. Your working the rest of your life. You better dame well like everything about that place.IDK which office you worked in but I know some of the larger op centers have the shorter cubical walls for their engineers to do just as you described. The one I worked in was smaller and almost everyone knew everyone else so the taller walls really didn’t matter. Plus people would talk to their neighbors without getting up.
The asperation to go to work was that I enjoyed doing my job. I actually had alot of fun because they would give me a workload and cut me lose to do it when/as I pleased. If I got 3 jobs in Mooresville, 2 in Kannapolis, and 4 in Charlotte I could pick and choose which to do on what day of the week. Maybe it’s just having a real job, idk, but enjoying my job in a cube beats being miserable in more open environments.

we dont liesn to the PA in the grandroom. so why try to do it over 2 rooms? You’d be surprised how many actually do listen to announcements. When they announce for TF2 players to go to the stage you see a collective body move there.
Also, there are quite a few PC gamers that play in the console tournaments but if they don’t know they’re starting they can’t play in them.

As long as its a cubical i wont
Yes I’m talking about cubicals. They’re really not that bad if you work in a quiet office and keep a pair of headphones for when things get noisy.

Bull*edited* I have had that desktop for quite some time, unless you are referring to the case which I HAVE owned for quite awhile just not used as my case (it was susan’s case before). The case wasn’t there when I went by your place at the end of the semester and I didn’t remember it being Susan’s. My b. Last I remember you had that cheap looking silver case.
When I get back on campus I’ll post my cubby. Posting what I’m using now would just create epic lols.

ParticipantAppLAN uses several different rooms and it causes just as many problems as it solves. I would definately try to get the Grand Room and Illusions as they are close enough to where we might be able to wire their PA systems together but anything further away from the Grand Room will be too far. AppLAN used rooms all over the place and it really hurt the overall cohesion of the LAN as people in one room didn’t know what events were starting in another room.

ParticipantOnly problem I had with cubes was the wanderers. They were always distracting me with oddball conversation topics and once they start rambling there’s no easy way to ask them to *edited* off.

ParticipantTeatimer is runtime protection. Don’t use it. It doesn’t really work anyway.
Spybot S&D scans the registry as part of it’s general scan and should catch most malware related problems. You can also use CCleaner for more general stuff.
Most registry programs are overly invasive and I wouldn’t use them if you paid me. If you have a specific problem in mind, google it for the exact answer, other than that you need to avoid playing in the registry as you can screw things up in a jack flash.

Mother f.er, you weren’t kidding when you said FF3 looks better on Mac than Safari. Didn’t know something like that was possible.
Nickname would like you to believe he’s always right but suffice it to say I do get things right from time to time. The arguements here are nothing compared to those we have in the CRIB. If they got any better I think we could sell tickets.

STFU IE7 FAIL USER!Besides, FF 3.0 is MUCH improved over FF 2, maybe you should even give it a try.
That’s what they said about FF2 and it still had the “feature” most PC gurus call a leak.
Toss on your brainwash hat and give me a brief overview of how it is “MUCH improved”.
