I miss when Firefox was defaulted to google and auto directed you to pages. But, no. One day I install the *edited* new AIM and the whole thing usurps my computer with a classic 1939 blitzkrieg.

i prefer to call it “so tall ppl think you will eat them and refuse to sit near you on the bus”

If it doesn’t show up in BIOS and you KNOW it used to then double check the cabling. If everything is connected fine, try it in another computer. If it doesn’t show there either then odds are the drive is dead.yea im def positive it did….ok ill check it in another comp then thx

honestly i dont mind it at all… i used to mind it when i was 16, but i grew to love the ability to hide away and get work done
now in that office where they are 3ft walls and not full cubicles i might go insane lol too many distractions

Basically Idiot me had AOL toolbar installed into firefox. i removed it from the toolbar and add-ons menu, but it still shows up as “AOL search” in the main address bar not the usual Google-Esq “I’m feeling lucky”
ie. Look at pic below
so needless to say im very frustrated and every site I’ve looked at for removing AOL toolbar says that after the uninstall i should run a reg clean to remove that AOL *edited* that is left behind
so reg cleaner wont help me in this case or what?
