um from what i’ve seen with WCU ppl tend to play more during the school year because at least for me im more busy in the summer than the school year. i mean if this is continuing into the fall then maybe 1.6 IS dying, but i doubts

Why not install the engineering software on the gaming computer?because retarded Virginia tech makes us buy 2.5k dollar tablet PCs and then goes and finds OBSCURE programs that require the tablet function.
programs that are CPU intensive may be ending up on the gaming computer, but they require that we use the tablet function for many EngE, ISE, and ESM classes which we take through out our career here.

what i did this past semester is my monitor will toggle dvi / vga so i did that for video, and for keyboard, mouse, and accessories i had a usb hub that i moved back and forth with usb keyboard and mouse, etc… to make the switch quicker i had a usb cable to each computer and just changed which one was plugged into the hub.
hmmm… my monitor isn’t leet and is only VGA (i believe) so transferring that cable from station to tower would be a pain in that scenario…
hum… what does Start > Run > mstsc do?
well i was going to have one comp for gaming and one comp for engineering software that i need my tablet for…

Now if we add 2 more cores, that gives us 100% free x 2. To average that our, we get .3+.3+1+1=2.6/4=65% free after the upgrade.
Cause if you really think about it, we are at 70% LOAD; doubling the cores will decrease the load by half, giving us 35% load = 65% free.
P.S. I want a zombie server.

Well we don’t really know. When that new TF2 server is full it uses a lot of CPU usage(up to almost 50%) but Source even full only uses like 10% and 1.6 about 8%, meaning we have around 30% to play with that could either go here or to the other TF2 server.Also we are looking at upgrading tron with 2 dual core chips which would solve the problem completely. And RAM usage is not even an issue, tron has 16GB ram and we don’t ever use more than 2GB of that lol.
well i think if u get the upgrade then def get a zombie server… i mean half of the servers in 1.6 that are still up are zombie mods and if its still going in 1.6 i cant imagine how big it is in CS:S

I think the problem is going to be CPU usage. Once we upgrade Tron it will be fine but IDK otherwise. I guess we could always give it a shot and see how it goes though.how many servers can Tron hold well?
ie. if there are 5 running (considering that CoD4 might be gone) will game play on the other servers still be adequate?
