If sudden death occurs, the server will either randomly or statically select a class and force all players to be that class. Then, the server will force melee only. This is especially fun with Heavies.
I plan on lowering the 20-25 second respawn time down to 8-10 seconds. I will NOT make it instant respawn. There has to be some respawn to allow for a team to win. At most I think I will choose 12 seconds.
I believe that I can populate the server without the need for a 24/7 map.
The current shape of the server is terrible. The welcome screen says its a valve test server, the map cycle is incorrect, half the ‘special text’ is cut off with … but displayed on the bottom of the screen in admin font. Overall the server needs a lot of work and I plan on doing all I can to make it a desirable place for players to pub.
If you have any suggestions or comments please feel free to post. I am especially interested in trying out new custom maps that have NO major bugs.
I am 90% sure that there is a way to display logos on maps and I think it would be a good idea to advertise our gaming club logo at least in the spawn points of each map. At any rate, time for sleep, its 4am and I’m tired. If anyone has any good ideas or good TF2 servers that they pub feel free to pm them to me so I can check them out. I want a successful server and it never hurts to see what the other guys are doing ^^.
You have to edit the maps to insert the spray.
I think a points system would help a *lot*.

It’s like I lost to someone who didn’t even have an acount on the forums. I’d have to be extremely small minded to hold some sort of grudge.

well the place to edit profiles doesn’t have a menu of smiles. I was too lazy to offsite host the image and embed it in the sig, I suppose for clarity sake I should get around to doing that sometime.lol, its just a ; ) all together. The board will handle the parsing.

With absolutely no warranty that card isn’t getting anywhere near my comp.
Being as I have to run 64 bit drivers which aren’t covered by anyone anyway, I’ll take my chances.

I’m running a q6600 chip now. It flies. That’s all I can say. It installed the O/S in 20 minutes, (Vista 64 business), it boots in less than 30 seconds, and it loads my games extremely fast. Hell, it ran Crysis at an avg 50-60 fps.
