Pretty sure DoD source is the only source game worth playing. Although just as easy as regular DoD, it’s pretty fun once in a while
Why is Bracket not banned for all this garbage. Although very entertaining, should probably stop now.
If you want to know about “purchasing servers” I can help you out with that. Unlike most of the other repliers here I’ve sadly played competitively or at least scrimmed a lot more than most of them.
I know of a lot of good server companies and can answer those specific questions if you’d like. If you ever use their IRC channel my alias in there starts with CAL-cs| so yeah, find me.

Source is pretty hard if you try to shoot standing still at the people that are just running holding down fire and headshooting everybody.

Does it disconnect you from AIM or whatever else you have running that requires internet? Or does it just kill off your game?

You should auto set people’s rates (on connection) when they get in so they can’t mess with them and have 50 ping and look unbelievably choppy so nobody can hit them.
I might have a 32 total spawn point version from when I used to run my server. Along with cs_mansion the original.

** Keep in mind this was known as a lag map so there’s a reason why they kept it to 20 or 22 or whatever it is.
WCU and APP will never be together. Not until Pengu loses admin in APP and is not considered a respresentative anymore. Pengu is a funny kid and I like playing with him, but while in the APP server if somebody mentions WCU he slams them. Then he says WCU’s server sucks. Truthfully while playing, WCU and APP have the exact same feel to me, the only difference is the time between map switching where WCU’s is shorter. Also red used to have a phase of joining app and instantly doing a repeated vote of awp_map until people voted yes, but that ended. That’s why I stopped playing in app for a while lol
I don’t know what Pengu has against WCU admins, but he slams the admins harder than the server. I mean everybody is a nerd so I don’t know what he’s all angry and surprised about? As long as this *edited* talking from somebody who is supposedly a representative of the APP server continues I doubt anything will be resolved.
I think it’d be neat if your two clubs combined to have one large LAN rather than two separate tournaments. Think of all of the sponsors that each community receives. Then imagine what you can accomplish with nearly 80% growth for an event. More companies would offer more things for more prizes.
Just something to think about, I’m not close to you guys at all so this is all just me ranting and whoring the forums like gxti told me not to do.
Truthfully the longer you’ve played CS the less big of a deal this issue of maps being played on a rotation becomes. You’re already bored with the game and as long as it isn’t the same map repeatedly you’re good to go.
The most crucial thing is that it is a balanced rotation.
If you plan on creating a bot for voting of some sort go for it and experiment for a little bit, clear the stats and observe. Rock the vote is not that great of an idea in my opinion because it’ll go back to the same 5 maps unless you limit and say the map can’t go back until 5 or 6 more maps afterwards.
Also map voting the way it is right now isn’t going too well. Voting custom/regular. Once it’s on a custom map usually the people will want a custom map again, same goes with regular maps. The only way that I can think of to create a balanced voting system is really ridiculous.
I say ridiculous because I would suggest adding all the maps from your maplist and eliminating all maps that have been played within the last four change ups. All custom/regular maps would appear with a symbol to vote (a, b, c, 1, 2, 3 whatever). But also this could end up getting like 3 votes for a map and it winning because there would be such a large selection.
I would say come up with a list of maps that statistically show in your server a spike of people who join right away (in the beginning, AKA a map that brings people in). Then if you want custom maps add a few that you think may do well but just aren’t played enough because the regular maps in the server are dominant.
Do what you want it’s just a long suggestion that may or may not be organized because I’m just typing and staring at a Foreman Grill.
I’ll just end it with saying that when I ran a server (when people used to play cs) a balanced rotation always worked. I’ll be in IRC if you want to question how stupid this post is.
A little too much …. I got it from my friend for like 450$ or so. He bought it in either England, France, or Germany can’t remember which. He got it on sale there and gave it to me for that price.
Didn’t click on any of those links, but the first one and only one that I kind of thought was amusing was the poop one when he pulls it out of his pants in a meeting.

At least it’s just USAF. Their bootcamp is pretty easy down in TX. My brother was started out in the NAVY for the seals then left for his girlfriend, got dumped. Then he ended up in the USAF in the para rescue unit. Then he found someone else and got married

Even 25 minutes seems short. Everything would be much better if maps were thrown around and rearranged a bit because then they wouldn’t empty out and become boring.
Mine was when I first played source and ran around shooting a deagle as fast as I could and never stopped running and headshot everybody. And then I noticed how all of the kills everybody got were headshots.
Then I looked 40 minutes later and it was still all headshots. Then the funniest part was I stopped running to aim at somebody and it didn’t hit them.
So then I jumping headshot three people with a usp while running and realized I knew why I didn’t play source.
I don’t care about contract length. I also don’t care about how much money.
Currently the main phone of choice for me is the Nokia N93. Pretty sure I’ll get it, just asking T-Mobile a few more questions about the phone along with Nokia.
Other phones I’m interested in are:
– Samsung D810 [slim, very basic in today’s time and thin]
– Samsung X820 [might be a little too slim, but it’s a brick phone which I like more than flip phones]
Then my friend has another Samsung model that I like, forgot the model though.
I’d say Samsung and old Sanyo phones are the best Cam, especially for the price. Sanyo’s were by far the clearest back in the day.
