Woot woot, cant wait yo lol =P. Ive been hearing some crazy stuff about kinect too, if anyone has it , id like to look at it. Also “I challenge all the whoever sets forth in the css arena” . Any games I need to buy for this? I am still debating on bringing my full tower lol.

I just opened my account for wow because I got a few months for free, i barely play it though…I mean after all we are in college lol. But hey if anyone every wants to play BFBC2, cs1.6, source, medal of honor, old halo, or wow or any new game hit me up (text or dont bother 9105274940), ill try to get the game if i dont have it(if its any good). I dont have a console atm, feel I have more control with a computer… =} . Never played warhammer but I dont play any click mmos or auto mmos if it is one.
I would go to the lounges to see whats up and stuff but I am not bringing a full size tower with cords going throughout my dorm =/. Too much trouble for an hr or so of fun from something I can do in my dorm.
Btw: you sure they are mitches panties? fussing online is like seeing who can chug milk faster, either way , the winner is still an idiot…lol
Ill be there as soon as my 6:30 chem lab is over, should be short this week. Alot of new games comming out, seems everyone on my hall is playing halo, medal of honor, and wow.
hmm question, if I made a mouse+keyboard type controller by changing the xbox remotepads expanded and shaped like keys and the joystick the mouse, would I be able to use it in console tournaments? I can put this “console gamers are better than pc gamers” discussion to an end…=/. I am not sure about how to to do this but considering all games started on computers should make the job easy. Anyways, anyone have an idea of why halo 2,3,odst, or reach, isnt on the computer…?
@masterp, microsoft planned on combining the two however due to casual gamers and the exspense of loosing money caused the suggestion to be turned.

If you had posted what the actual constitutional revisions said I wouldn’t have said a word about it because how you worded it was more than fair. I asked before, twice actually, what the changes were and got no reply.
Let’s make a deal, ok? Every time you guys change the constitution, please post the updated version so more than just the execs knows what it says. So many of our recent problems stemmed from having multiple versions floating around and that happened because changes and revisions weren’t posted here. When *edited* hit the fan in March we were operating on 4 different versions; we’re at 2 now let’s get it back down to 1.
Also, make sure that SGA and our advisors have copies of the new version.
Trust me, I agree the constitution needs to be updated ASAP. That HAS been a huge problem. I actually compiled the changes today, and have it in a word DOC for who ever can update this for me
Also SGA does have the new constitution already.
@ Dusitn, once again, I does suck that we couldnt get everyone to sign in. Everyone was originally lining up and there was chaos. To solve the chaos I told everyone to find a seat and passed the sheet around down each row. Even after that I asked if all the walk ins had signed to. I really tried man
About the dustin membership thing, I know he may meet the requirements, and it would be nice to have him in the ranks, but from an outside perspective, it would look REALLY bad on our part to do that. because he is new to the school. If anything, I think it will aid Dustin to go through the requirements. If he really does want to become a president one day, he will be able to say “Hey, to all you new members, I went through those requirements once”.
Doesnt bother me, not like im in a hurry lol.

The way the new membership status happened at the end of last semester was a one time, IF you showed up to that meeting, you were a member. EVERYONE else was SOL. THAT wasnt fair to people who couldnt make it, or didnt make it. I was simply trying to right a wrong there, not give everyone a free ride man.
Sounds legit. I can see where times have changed, once *edited* hits the fan its hard to clean up. tallgeese whats the idea on the small lans? rename them mini comp events or something? and I am sitting here eating boyardee mini cups that you microwave and got an idea of a nice sponsorship lol. I spent 120$ of declining balance on snacks and drinks since I am never going to use it all up( i did that math). Anyways so I have an old school server that I got from a guy at a car show that happened to work with a school in waynesville. Would be nice to hold info for a server or host something like cs or some old *edited*.
@ adam , i got a computer for cars from the same guy that gave me ther server, its really nice if I could buy that touch screen from you and mount it in the certer console.
(BTW guys start asking around about stuff like that, so much free stuff out there and I just happened to meet a guy at a car show that has it sitting in storage)

I understand your point on the minilan: about distracting potential sponsors. I just think that if the club as an entity no longer officially sanctions these events, it will become harder to keep the minilans going. A better solution to the issue would be to rename the minilans as to not mislead potential sponsors but still classify them as club events.
What specific instances of people being too serious in the meeting do you feel could have scared off casual gamers? Also, the meetings should be more laid back from here on out due to the recent compromises made in the club.
my internet cut out when i was editing my post so i came back a couple hours later,copy and pasted the edit I was originally going to have, and saw this. Cliques are fine for pushing someone in office to an extent, whatever, i dont care.Clicks, cliques, are usually part of a group that is on offence against others, is the problem. Sanction the minilans on a personal level would be more benefition to the club tho, its just one of those things that isnt a big deal but then again makes a big difference. Renaming may help, but never know till you try it or think it thouroughly.
I am off for the night, been a crazy weekend, I will be on tommorow night since I have a ladyfriend over.

Are you implying that our bureaucracy is scaring people off? We need some amount of bureaucracy to keep stuff organized.
To the “mini-LAN” argument:
A large LAN every month would be nice, but it’s seemingly difficult to arrange the space needed. Also, this would mean more meetings per semester and more work for the elected officers and others who are helping out. As for the mini-lans, if we said it was for a personal get-together, it would be more difficult to get Central’s MPR reserved as much as we do.
To the “cliques” argument:
Only one person (Felix) was even voted in. Everyone else (Kaz, Thor, JJ, Shanon, Ephraim) was approved by the general consensus. Judging by that, I’d say the two main cliques of this club have mostly came to peace with each other.
Just from the meeting I recongnized clicks so you can’t deny that ( i am not bashing anyone). The mini-lan argument, reread it because you missed the concept. If the people in office have a problem with working their *edited* off then why the *edited* are they in office, you know? The bureucracy wasnt what I was talking about, I am talking about the way people carried themselves during the meeting… Reread and think again, it wasnt an argument either…
I am not arguing, neither was I singling people out, and I dont know much about people so dont take my brother’s past and point it at me. I would rather not start off on a bad foot because someone doesnt like my brother. I have no *edited*ing idea who most of you guys are or the past relationships. I never have had a problem getting along with someone unless they were total *edited*s, and even then it humors me.
any executives have an opinion on what I said or a fix for the freshman that were not accountable? its a little unfair for them since they technically cant take part in “club” functions…

lol i just got out of class. I stayed up last night till like 3am watching kickass/studying. Have a ladyfriend wanting to hangout soon but I will leave for home prob tonight. BTW i have a 70 warrior (before wolk came out) named bloodlord on server garithos. he has old tier gearfrom pre bc, tier4 full set, tier 5 fulll set and some gladiator stuff. I was forced to quit prior to black temple so at the time I was maxed out..If anyone wants to buy the account hit me up, also is a 64 hunter on it.
BTW if you beta tested any game , register on planes of telara forums for beta key. That game will blow WoW out the room…The game makers played WOW themselves and made it their goal to put WOW in the ground.

Ok so sat in room, spun in chair after doing HW, waiting for 5 to come around since everyone was done with classes. Well nathan pops in at 3 ” hey man lets get some food” so we eat, then I spin in the chair some more, then 5pm hits. We go on a roadtrip to waynesville or whatever to see my friends Austin’s parents and go to wallmart. Our history assignment was to gather names of items made in other countries ( record was 40) we almost got 40 items listed after raiding walmart for 2 and half hrs( womens pads were made in germany, trojan comdoms usa, and benefactor is from france). Then Austin said he didnt have a roomate, I am like dude lets become roommates. So then we road back listening to 80-90s rock while yelling at chicks on the side of the walkway. Awesome. Then my friend nathan left his phone in my truck which is parked on the other side of campus. So as walking to his car these sick nasty hot blonde babes asked if we needed a ride and they could take our parking spot. I was like *edited* man lets do it. He was made and told them no, they still slowly followed and I talked to them. Long story short he got his phone and a closer parking spot when we got back. Then I continued watching boondock saints. Woot.
new story. 3 nights ago I went to a party with these 2 skinny girls. WE left within 20mins, saw cops go up the hill after we went across stop light. Lucky eh?

Whether it be by the 15th’s regiments D-link(dlink I am almost positive WILL sponsor a college game club) or just a given server by the DDD clan(top rated servers I play on and personally know the owners) I can get us one…=} anyways I have alot showing up for the meeting so lets try to make it intresting.

All in all, this would take you an entire hour at max to do so. $10 will get you ~100 fliers, plenty to get the word out and get people coming if they read it.
Now here’s the other major issue: STOP MAKING THE *edited*ING MEETINGS AT 8:30 PM FOR *edited*S SAKE. People have other things to do and still want to come, what happened to meetings at 7 or 7:30? Maybe even 8, but 8:30? Holy god.

If you want me to put some up I can lol. As far as the kissing *edited* speech , it seems as though the club is a ltl late. At the valleyboo or whatever I tried finding the wcu table and couldn’t. Was there one? Anyways I think this should have been a little bit planned over the summer or 1st day of moving so that everyone could have seen the fliers. I can bring alot of people to that meeting that would like to join that hasn’t heard of or seen anything about the club prior to me asking…It is sad that there is a gaming association at wcugaming.com that I nobody knows about too…lol. just a thought…I have over 13 people just from my classes that I briefly talked to that want to join (today)…Still there has been no spread word sbout the club. Can a freshman run for a position? I am ready to get this going…so many people are bored and want to have fun as a COMMUNITY instead of kissing people’s asses and waiting for a green light to do things. There doesn’t need to be a gaming club to play games, club from my understanding is to bring people together to have fun. If someone is required to kiss *edited* the entire time to play a game with people when they can simply do it in their dorm, then there really is no point. Can someone get some flyers or something? set a date for a lan, get sponsorships, its not that hard…lol
As far as the club thing goes, I have been to 2 or 3 lan events and sat through a meeting, heard the stories, seen what can be done, and seen what hasn’t been done.

That last part is the one that needs to be cleaned up, mitch. As its half within a years time, if we had 3 in one semester, and 5 the other, that would be 8, meaning the member need to come to 4, not just the 3 from the first semester.
Regardless of past presidents, this gives us a foot hold forward, regardless if anyone actually ever reads it.
Every president says we’re going to hold more meetings under their administration but we never do. It’s always 2 per semester, maybe 3 at the absolute most. I can’t remember a single year I’ve been here where the second semester had more meetings for general members than the first semester had.
Regardless of past presidents? That was a glaring indicator of how much people care. What good does signing something do if they still aren’t going to read it? It doesn’t mean they have to abide by it, nor does it prevent them from destroying it with contradictory amendments.
are non students allowed to run or be in this convention?
What kind of meeting will this be? Just executives from previous or everyone associated with the club?

Whenever we get some fliers (hopefully soon) you should walk up and down your halls and if you see people playing, hand them a flier and tell them about the club. Same with telling them about the first meeting, tournaments, etc.
I play some BC2 as well so let me know if you ever want to play
