I’m speechless, what is wrong with all of you, are you all so low in the bottom of the barrel that you are resulting to assuming, name calling, and just down right dirty attitudes.
Since it seems yet again my reputation is being called into question I will give you my reason.
I currently, yet again, do not have internet at my apartment and have not had the chance to be on campus to have connection, now that I am, I am here to post. Thus that is why I have been unavailable and not here to post, why if so many of you care so much this club saw fit not to call me and tell me about this? That is neither here nor there, I want a lot out of this club, I am opening doors for the to walk through I am NOT doing it by myself.
As for why I will not be at the LAN: Yes, I picked the dates for the LANs last semester, I am in a play that is required for my major to graduate, this requires time and rehearsal that I am required to be at, one of the days for the rehearsal that as of right now I must be at are on November 8th. I am doing all that I can to get out of it, but there is no guarantee that I will be able to, but I am trying.
I am hugely disappointed in the actions of pretty much everyone that posted in this thread.
Kuros: Get off it, everyone knows you hate me, everyone knows you don’t agree with how I do things, and you beating that dead horse is getting really old. All you do is sit back and *edited* about things, on the rare occasion you actually give good advice, in fact, when you actually do give advice it is really good. So instead of *edited*ing all the time why don’t you give advice? And don’t you dare bring my personal reputation into this again, this club does not need that kind of base mudslinging, not so much for me but for future presidents, I would not want you here anymore simply because of that. But maybe because I don’t have “balls” I hope against hope that you will stop with the idiotic mudslinging and actually try to do something for this club, like back when I could tell you cared.
This thread has way too much emotion in it, if I really did things the way Kuros said I do I would close this down and delete all the posts, but I don’t do that. Obviously your all pretty riled up at each other, so when your done fighting and gnashing your teeth at each other and you actually want to do something with this club, you let me know. I will continue doing what I have been and try to better this club, by getting its name known in the university, bringing new people in, finding ways to compromise and bring fun back to the LAN events, finding better ways to do things on the clubs business side, and trying to get better sponsors for this club.
If I am not “go-getter” enough for you, well I am *edited*ing sorry. My term ends in December, please if anyone else wants this and everyone believes in them that they will do something with this massacre, then please stand up and do it. I am so tired of logging on these forums and having to read through this garbage, you are all young adults and some of you are even already grown adults out in the real world, get off your *edited* high horse and realize that no one is going to do things your way. The best thing you can do is help them do it their way, and if that doesn’t work then they can do it your way, but their has to be some kind of compromise somewhere.
Like I said I want the best for this club, if that is in the form of my leaving then I will, I am so ready to resign and be done with this if that is all what you want. But unless that is made clear to me and someone else is ready to step up and take my place, then I will not stop because I love this club and that is why I put up with all this bull*edited* every *edited*ing day.
I’m spent, my hands are tired and I am done typing, if any of you feel you need to talk to me about this, call me, I refuse to sling any more mud on these forums, next time one of you personally insult me you will be getting a call from me, and if I don’t have your number I will leave you a PM. I hope you all understand where I am coming from, I am willing to work for the betterment of this club, but I will not sit through any more of this bull*edited*, so all of you suck it up, man up, and quit being *edited*ing pansies about this.
I had forgotten what this game was, I actually love this game, I played it back in the day and it is actually a lot of fun, similar to worms, but you only get one guy.
I would rather him not risk permanent injury so he will be good to go and ready at the LAN. Don’t slack off though, if you can please be in IRC.
Walking stick? lol, don’t worry about it, stay off it, get some rest, and get better. When the minutes are up get on them and read up. If you have anything that you feel like you just have to vote on and your vote may have changed it, then we’ll talk. Otherwise get better, I need you good to go for the LAN.
Ah well, get me the papers and I will sign them as well as get advisors signature, then I will give them back to you so you can sign it and turn it in.
Shane did that himself and he admitted to that, he wasn’t “nice” to them, thats why he had me, Karen, and Becca go in and smooth things over with them, as far as I know, now we are in pretty good standing with them, they just got their funds nerfed so that is why they are a bit stingy with money.
I don’t agree with how they treated Shane, I think he did the best he could with them, but there was a lot of miscommunication that went down and ended *edited*ing a few of the wrong people off.
Shawna should be able to handle this then, being the main contact with the SGA that we have, will you take care of this please Shawna?
If they ask for documentation I will do what I can to find it in the email.
If I don’t remember someone remind me of this at the meeting so we can talk about it, if we do it I want it to be structured, like you can come as whatever you want but if we do a contest only people dressed up as characters from games we are playing get a chance to win.
Thanks for posting this up Mike, I also want to point out that we should not be there the whole time this time unless we have a lot of things to discuss and vote on, we most certainly need to vote on the things for the LAN and get that business out of the way.
This kind of thread is most certainly not the direction the WCU Gaming Club is going so please refrain from posting things like this, if it had been a picture of your own personal side boob that would fall under the category of funny, this is just sexist and immature and not something WCU Gaming is willing to support.
I don’t care which team I am on as far as I am concerned I am still “playing” with my friends, I enjoy the challenge of going against them at times just as I enjoy playing on the same team as them, what this will prevent is two friends who play extremely well together always joining the same team and stacking it, sorry but sometimes people gotta take a hit for the community and it looks like they want it….
