I honestly respect Mitch’s decision here since he is the CL still…but I really think that you guys should use some of your next meeting time to discuss the best options. I have been trying my hardest to populate the server, and I was on yesterday to see it get close to having 20 people in it (which was very exciting)…However, the server died after a measly 3 or 4 maps in the rotation. All I am saying is that the interest is there…but there are a couple variables stopping it…
I say move it to 100 tick and if you don’t see considerable changes in the server population…then turn it back.
I have been trying over the last few days and everytime I have been on…there were at least 10 people on at one point…but then you get to a map like chateau and there goes the server…lol
PM #16 is correct in saying that the customs need to be removed…or we need to give admins the power to change the map without a vote again. I have had several people ask me to change the maps and I was like sorry…can’t do it. This wouldn’t be a problem if the rtv function would work with only a few people in the server, but since it doesn’t, it is very, VERY hard to get the server populated when people are ragequitting *edited*ty maps.
Maybe we could do a vote thread and see if this interests any1 on the forums??? It will suck to play the same maps again and again for a while…but once we have a regular attendance and get some of them on the forums, we can slowly add more custom maps to the rotation. It’s basically like we are starting the server’s population over from scratch.

I know that the L4D servers had a lot to do with the tic rate change, but I thought the major reason was because it was causing so much interference with the way the GG server was run.
Honestly tho…I think people do come in the server and notice that it is 66 tic and leave…You say that WE keep pretending that it makes a difference…but when are YOU guys gonna stop pretending that this is not the reason a lot of people quit playing as much/all together. There is no more GG server so can’t we move it back up to 100 just to see how much of a difference it really does make?

Yo when is the next lan…I may try and come up with Lemm. I need to know way in advance tho because of my band.
Get a new rotation with popular maps. get rid of dumb *edited* like chateau for now until people really start playing the server again. I had like 8 people on with me and Citan the other day and as soon as chateau came up…BOOM. There goes the server. Until you get more people playing…the server will die everytime a bad map comes up.
Lol…it is extremely sad that we must “Plan a CSS night” on the WCU server…
So…everyone stop being little jackoff’s and get on SOURCE!!! My summer is over…and you know what that means!!! Time to deny myself precious study time for countless hours on CSS.

Sorry guys…I have been busy with my girlfriend and my band. I will prolly be putting a lot less hours in, but I will definitely be stopping in at least a few times a week. I will make sure to stay on the forums also.

Yo I voted glock because it is the MOST underestimated pistol…I get one shot kills with it all the time and they don’t even have to be headshots…Also, just stick it on burst and u CAN JUMP KILL *edited*ES. It’s the best pistol by far…but my second choice is of course the deag.
