I guarantee that is your problem. Wireless and gaming do not mix.

It sounds like you are having a temporary loss of internet connection. The drowning sound is a typical sign that you have lost communication with the server. Does the upper right hand corner have “connection lost” in red when this happens?

Yes. The Halloween event is over now and will go back to the achievement map until another event (maybe Christmas?), which has no issues w/ hackers. However, I will setup admin for the next event.

Sounds like you guys may need to call an emergency exec meeting and ensure everything is on track for the LAN; not only for the marketing side of it but other things as well. Maybe even a forum discussion if you can get all of the execs involved.

Yes. It’s the local community college across from the High School.

I assume JJ or whoever is in charge of marketing will take care of contacting them.

Just found out SCC is hosting some sort of video gaming event at their library on 11/12/10. This was their communication:

“You are invited to the library’s 3rd video-gaming event.

Library provides the monitors, projectors, screens, and students have signed up to bring consoles and the following games:

DDR, Rock Band, Halo Reach, Wii games, Modern Warfare 2, Mario and board and card games are welcome, too!

    Free pizza and beverages!

This event is for 16 yrs and older, so please bring ID. Under 16 yrs must be accompanied by a Parent!

Everyone will register at the Information Desk.

    Questions? Call 828-339-4268.”

    Here is their flyer:

We already have a rating system that clearly labels every single thing that’s in the game and states its desired audience on the front cover. You also have a lot of games that include settings within the game options to disable “violence”. So it is up to the parent whether they allow their child to play those games or not. It should not be up to the law to make that decision for the parent of their OWN child. Its not hard for a parent to control what games their kids are playing, parents can easily look on their child’s computer or what game is in the console or observe them.

Yes Nurayz I realize you and I both are of age, however, you have to think if you were a child being affected by this or whether your kids will be affected by this.

If it’s not broke, don’t fix it.

    1. As far as the rules go, we have a GUIDELINE. The guideline works to satisfy all situations. We don’t need a written rule for each possible scenario. We are adults and can make decisions.

    2. The two private sections are necessary and self explanatory. These sections gives the right access to the right people.

The exec private section allows for current elected officials, founders, etc…to discuss sensitive club info and keep things like cd keys, payment info, LAN checkoff, etc…Which only a few select individuals needs to see/discuss. Why does the general public need to see what things we are doing to prepare for the LAN? Why does the general public need to be involved in a discussion about our staff adviser? Sure we could let them see the discussion, but WHY? I can give several reason why not, but I could not give reasons for why they should…one clearly outweighs the other.

The second private section is for past executive to provide input and assist in the development of the club. Past execs shouldn’t have access to see current cd keys, contracts, etc…so this section was needed.

    3. AFAIK, our moderator team is doing fine?

I think instead of worrying about mi-newt things such as this, that really doesn’t need attention. The exec staff should be focusing on filling these servers and preparing for the next LAN.

Not to depress you but the axe is garbage. It has *edited*ty attributes and its simply a visual/skin obsession.

You can trade keys now. So you don’t necessarily have to pay.

As long as advertising and sponsors are done correctly and in a timely manner, I will be there. I would like tf2 and maybe css

And if Adam comes, if Adam doesn’t come then he will ruin everything.

He has already found the items but in order for them to be accepted into his backpack he must die. He has probably idled in spectator and then exited the game w/o dying. This leaves items that you have found unallocated in the backpack until he dies. If you click his backpack and look near the bottom you will see “The following items were found but not yet placed in the backpack:”.

    …i have like 4 items…

You have items waiting to go into your backpack. You just need to join tf2 and die and it should give them too you. You should start joining the idle server when you are not gaming…as in, when you are sleeping.

I had a reserved slot system ready but since it seemed no one else expressed interest in the idle server, I never implemented it. Are others interested in a reserved slot?

I guess you left out “buy”.

You can’t buy all hats. Also, if you buy a hat you can’t trade it.
