Well the only thing that keep people in halo 2 or pc is the competition. it doesnt matter if people cheat because not very many people play matchmaking anymore. all the good people play customs…….anyway you have to play halo pc for more then a day or two to enjoy it all. Most of the people i know that play halo 2 play pc and cs and all types of other games so apparently a good number of people enjoyed and still enjoy it
personally i think RS is better on the pc…..anyway just to get into the halo argument (bec i have to). Halo has a big following bec of its online play, which sometimes sucks…….but it is the biggest online game on any console. Anyway……GTA gets old very fast. it is a new type of game but after a short time it gets very repetetive and boring. Also halo pc didnt bomb…..i know people who still play it now and in its day it was a great game…..it was in cal, kw and many tournaments worldwide. To those who never played it it bombed but if you played it when it came out then you opinion would be alot different.
i have this game. i got it when it came out but it made my xbox freeze almost every time i played it so i dont play it anymore but i wouldnt mind playing it in a tourney style….on some one elses xbox, lol. i can find some of my friends that play it and let you know.
well my team as 0 points so we have to play FFA to get some points otherwise we will most likely lose in the first round
yea you have to do good in ffa to get a good seed. my team will have to play very well in ffa or we will play people good enough to be in top 16
well first of all we need to stop trying to make everyone happy. go with the majority and screw the rest. as for halo or “*edited*lo” as nodice like to call it bec he sucks at it…..we need to have console tournies running throughout the span of the lan. if you want to have a real tourney for consoles, 1 hour is not enough. at the app lan it look like 5 hours to complete the halo 2 lan with 30 something people. so with our 20 or so people we need to have at least 2 and a half hours. So….run halo or gears or w/e throughout the lan. So while pc tournies are going on…so are consoles. But consoles will last longer so they can get done and the individuals that come to the lans just for console can actually have some fun. having the console tournies really late and giving us almost no time to finish the tournies is a sure fire way to get people to never come to the lans again. 4 tv’s and all of the things we have had at the lans is enough but we need more time so we can finish it all. if we could get more people to bring their *edited* then we could get it done much faster…..alas no one feels the need to bring their *edited* but they complain when there isnt enough consoles and tv’s to play on….. so we can keep all of the tournies but you need to figure extra time for setup of tournies and all that jizz…..
true but the internet is not the reason for leaving. The reason is that this school is in a area which has nothing to do. Asheville was pretty boring but Cullowhee and Sylva are unbearably boring. Thats why i want the internet to work well. if there is nothing to do i would at least like for the internet to work so i would have something to do
wow the internet is horrible…..i know their are issues but this is ridiculous. The internet at unca is better then this. If the internet continues like this then i will probably not be going here next year. I mean you pay 9,000 dollars a year and the tv frequently doesnt work and the reception is horrible and the internet barely works. The internet for xbl is either barely working and you cant play anything or it will not work and sometime at like 5 in the morning it works wonderfully. But unless i want to start playing at 5 in the worning and at no other time then i guess im screwed. I know gaming bandwidth is very limited but i can use my pc all day long and the connection is fine. But right when i sign onto XBL it is horrible. It doesnt take very much bandwidth to just play xbl but it seems that the wcu internet can handle pc’s perfectly but it cant handle consoles at all. Before the club starts to advertise to get highschoolers to come to WCU because of the gaming club, the internet has to be fixed. Sorry for the rant but this is very annoying and you cant say you have been through this problem unless you are playing console games on the internet. Because the console lag is much more severe. Regardless of the internet issue i will hopefully be going to another college. Western isnt right for me and the internet issue sure isnt helping the issue.

well if that was your first drive and that is your new highscore……why didnt you keep playing so you could have something completely nasty?
i have played some of the PMS girls or maybe they were just a team of girls…….i dont remember. but i do remember that they were good. but nope i dont think anyone had heard of her lmao. also if a girl is even decently good she will most likely be recognized or get a sponsorship….kinda like golf.
halo is the best multiplayer game for consoles…….HL is mainly story….story is well and good but it gets old fast……cheater
Setting the bar or not you cant compare two games that are not related very close. hl2 is pretty realistic and halo is no where near realistic. HL2 has puzzles and Halo is mainly just run and gun…..well most people see it as that. They are two diff. games with their own styles…..you cant compare them
You cant compare the flood and the head crabs seeing as the head crabs in hl2 are pretty much dumb. they walk slow and are very easy to kill…..kinda boring. the flood in halo are semi smart and jump around and actually think compared to the head crabs. i dont even know what you talking about with zombies…….
Also hl2 is more physics based and is cool but not good for a multiplayer game. just kinda fun…then gets old. Also you cant compare a game that is mainly pc to one that is mainly console. i know both are on pc and console but halo was originally console and hl was mainly pc. Thats like comparing CS to Halo. They are different types of FPS.
Anyway…..a 50 before the update would have to of been from cheating. A 50 before the reset would have taken hundreds of games and no one has reached it legitly. If i were you i wouldnt talk about getting a 50 when it wasnt possible before the update and is almost impossible now. You dont know the true joy of Halo 2 when all you did was play for a few months,cheat to get your level and quit playing. MLG is the main reason why halo 2 is so popular and it is on the USA Channel on TV. HL2 cant boast that.
i halo 3 beta will not be relased when crackdown comes out. no one has told us an official date on when it will be released. i bought crackdown today…..but hey it isnt a bad game so i get the h3 beta and a little bit of fun killing innocent people and throwing cars on buildings and random things like that. its all good. doesnt matter too much bec the beat will not last that long. after a certain time you will not be able to play it anymore……but i will still have crackdown lol
well last time when it was “fixed” i had great ping and i could host 10 person games with no lag……..but today has been horrible. i can use my pc without a problem but playing on live is horrible and live doesnt take that much bandwidth to use…..annoying
yea this is rediculous and the tv messes up all the time too. Seems that if you pay for college you should at least have reliable internet and tv….at the least
