ParticipantDid I miss something here or did NO ONE say that molesting little boys made him less of a musical genius? How did questioning his abilities as a musician come into play?
Also, Major, I was sending that around on my phone last night, roffle. It’s so bad.

ParticipantMichael is harmless…. he never had time to grow up himself so he was still really a kid too. He just wanted to play… not play with there junk just still play and be a kid himself. No worries media just has to have something to talk about thats why they made him out to be a pedo.
Here in Charlotte all you heard about was MJ after news broke Farrah went to the back burner no joke so idk what you guys are watching.
KK donezo here

ParticipantIf there were irrefutable proof that Michael Jackson molested children, then he should be remembered as an evil man and not as a wonderful musician. The same can be said of murderers like O.J. Simpson and William S. Burroughs. However, as it stands, there is no absolute evidence that he molested children, so there is nothing wrong with enjoying his work.

Btw, if he was so innocent, why did he pay to make the first lawsuit go away? That is now illegal in the state of California and was made so after he did it. From what I hear the evidence was pretty damning.

That’s a little harsh don’t you think?Harsh? Perhaps…but no more harsh than cracking jokes about the dead in hopes that people will think you’re actually witty, instead of some poor forum lurker who quotes television and copies and pastes jokes. Sorry, but somebody who can’t respect the dead, and makes jokes about the deceased, doesn’t deserve anything less than “harsh”, and is down right dispicable.

Oh dear, he bought the courts!11!
“From what I hear” belongs nowhere in the conversation. What self respecting parent accepts money, after some guy molested their child? Not a very good one. If I was that parent, and he actually did those things to my child, not only would I not drop the charges, but I would have been out for blood. As a celebrity as big as Michael Jackson, and with as immature as he was (due to lack of a childhood), you would hate to be called a monster, and would do anything to make it go away. Not only that, but the person Michael paid off, Evan Chandler (father of the “victim”) was abusive to his own family to begin with. It’s plain STUPID to assume he did it based on what you “think” you know, and its down right LOGICAL to believe they were after his money, but NOOOOO, he’s a celebrity, so he HAS TO be guilty. It’s also known that they had even MORE evidence for the second charge against him, which he was found innocent on.
Quit comparing this to OJ. There isn’t even close to as much evidence to suggest the accusations are true in Michaels case. In fact, just the opposite, which is why he was found NOT GUILTY.
What is with you people? You base your opinions on media image, and not those of cold hard factual information, and the FACT remains, that he was found innocent on ALL counts, so you’re opinions are null and invalid. I revert back to what I said before, with the advances in forensic evidence we have, they would have found him guilty, had he done it.

*edited*ing owned.
btw, i said all this, just not in a bad *edited* raven kind of way. I don’t get it either though, I mean if you really believed he was a pedo, jokes aside, why would you listen to his music? It’s like when i found out Tommy Hill Figure was a racist prick, i stopped buying all his clothes, or how bout when peewee herman got caught jacking off in the bath room, or michael vick was thrown in jail for killing dogs. The difference is all those people were guilty, MJ was not. But still people call him a child molester, yet still will throw his music on. I call that hypocritical, and well those people should burn tbh. Doesn’t make sense to me, to call a guy a pedo, but then turn around and do the moonwalk or thriller or jam to billie jean.
I’m not sure if this makes any sense, i’m quite drunk off of sangria. only two more days in barcalona =(

It’s also known that they had even MORE evidence for the second charge against him, which he was found innocent on.MJ did not pay the parents, that statement alone proves you don’t know wtf you’re talking about. The details of the payment were never released, as they rarely are in civil suits. It’s none of our business and we don’t a constitutional right to know. The suit went on for about 4 months and oddly enough was settled quickly after the boy signed a declaration of the details of the event. Since you pride yourself on LOGICAL actions, ask yourself why Jackson fought it until the boy testified? That doesn’t make sense and LOGICALLY looks damning.
Oh, and since the teenager was calling the shots I imagine he may have felt $15,000,000 was enough to make him drop the charges.
And since you aren’t a parent, you don’t know what you would do. Any assumption of what you would do puts you in the same category you’ve been putting everyone else in.
June 28, 2009 at 8:48 pm #87744Derrick LeBrocq
ParticipantIt’s not whether I’m a parent or not, its plain common sense to know that If somebody raped your child, you don’t let him buy you off, no matter what. Simple.
The kid was 11-12. He had absolutely NO control. His parents wanted, and were required to accept the money, because he needed his parents consent.
But hey, my fact based points are obviously *edited*ing you off, so I better cut it out before you “make me take a break for a while” I guess. Sorry for excersizing my right of free speech. The way I’m getting threatened here, I wouldn’t be surprised to be “given a break” for this alone….but wait….you don’t ban people for talking? At least thats what I keep getting told.

I don’t start fights. Actually, usually its “joining” a fight, and alot of the time its somebody fighting with you, or kuros, or you fighting with eachother etc. I started one fight with XRAY, and that little hacker had it coming.
I started no flame wars. Others not liking Michael has nothing to do with it. Sorry if I happen to think cracking lame *edited* jokes about dead people is disrespectful. I guess to me that doesn’t “fly” either. I wanted to see how MajorMajorMajor felt if he was being disrespected, but obviously because of your biast, you single me out in the situation. Give yourself a pat on the back, because you’ll just continue to do it. Even if I did bait insults, that makes them ok? Take a long hard look at whats wrong with that logic, and maybe you’ll come to the realization that you’re acting like a hypocrite. I do take alot of anti-canadian humor from this club. I used to get right choked about it, now I brush it off, because no matter what I do, thats just the way you guys are, and it won’t stop.
I’m starting to notice, with YOU in particular Kip, you come down harder on me than anybody else. You act as if you’re better than I am. By your logic, I can be insulted, and its no big deal (being that I’m “baited” into them), but god forbid I say a god *edited* thing, I get PM’s like this from you:
Quote:
That’s about enough. Chill out or you’ll be taking a break for a while.Soon after something like that, I’ll get a phonecall from Adam saying “MasterP said so and so”, and when this happens, you show him what I’ve done, but not HOW the events came to pass. Sneaky:)
Get the hell off my back, I’m getting sick and tired of being singled out, and I’m not preparing myself to take it anymore, it’s become a slew of bull*edited*, and I’ve had enough. Back the hell off.
To Hannah:
It’s fake.

ParticipantIf you want me to pick that apart I can.
Let’s just leave it at a simple “Please quit getting into fights, either creating or joining, on the forums.” If you know what you’re going to post is going to *edited* off the people in the current civil discussion, please don’t post it. You can’t go wrong with that.
If someone posts an insult that rubs you the wrong way let me know and I’ll deal with it. Replying with an even greater insult, which you yourself admit you do, only makes things worse and is usually why you get warned so much. It’s the whole “the person who wrongs the most gets punished first” mentality.
You don’t always have to fall back on calling people “gullible *edited*s” or telling them to “go get laid” to win an argument.
