I believe the third one comes out next year. I don’t know how good it will be though .. it has Anne Hathaway as Catwoman

I don’t know how I didn’t think of that one first.
Either way .. resident evil 5 is coming out next year.
I’m still a fan and will probably buy it on blu-ray. Even though some of the movies in the series aren’t as good or very good at all… I still enjoy watching them.

I like 2 a lot, but I definitely preferred 1. I have the first 3 on dvd. Resident Evil 3 was crap.
I’d like to watch the last one in 3d… I could tell by watching it in 2d that I was missing out on a lot.

And as a matter of fact Mortal Kombat was a great movie (the first one).. so is Resident Evil (the first one- they kinda go to crap after that)

I don’t know how to feel about 3D. As a kid, I would occasionally see a 3D movie or something, and I was blown away by the way the characters would get up to my face and stuff. I even liked the 3D effects in the Virtual Boy. But now, whenever I see something in 3D, like the 3DS or demonstrations of 3D TVs in electronics stores, it just doesn’t impress me as much. While there is definatlry more of a sense of distance than in standard screens, it just isn’t the same. Anyways, it seems like the 3DS will come out with one really good game every couple of months, which sounds… exactly like every other Nintendo console for the last decade or so.
You know I feel the exact same way… I think the current 3d technology / movies / content has scaled down the in your face scenes for some reason.
It kinda takes away from the effect.
That’s only true because a lot of pc cod players have switched to consoles for the same reason… Activision was *edited*ty towards pc players removing dedicated servers.
Dedicated servers are back in MW3 PC edition.
Perhaps I will download the beta off of PSN. I’m pretty sure I’ll mostly be playing MW3 when it comes out over any other FPS.

Besides, it only detects the one point for the move controller and some weak head/shoulder tracking. I’ve had the Move and it was okay. It’s just as gimmicky as the Wii is in terms of entertainment value and I don’t see it providing much more in any other application.

I still can’t fathom why Sony is pushing the Move for FPS games. Nintendo’s been trying to make that work since release day and still hasn’t managed to do it. Does Sony really think they can do any better?
I see your points.. If you would like to use your entire body as a controller, the Kinect appears to be a much better implementation than the Move. I would say if you just wanted to use your hands, the move would be more accurate.
However, to MasterP: I would like to say that the Move with Killzone 3 (FPS) is pretty fun ( I haz the battle rifle or whatever it’s called ). You are right though- because in any competition, the move will just hold you back and take longer to aim.. negating most of it’s value. It’s also really difficult to control player movement.
I plan on buying House of the Dead: Overkill in October and will be a better judge of how well it works as a gun (this game doesn’t require any movement by the player – just aiming so it’s a lot better for any implementation of a light gun)

The move is A LOT better than a Wii clone. Wii only detects motion (orientation too but you have to have it pointed at the sensor bar if you want this to work).. the Move detects orientation and distance along with motion.
You know I was just thinking about it at 8:01 AM on a Wednesday morning but…
Since CS: GO will be playable between PS3 & PC/MAC.. does that mean that there will not be dedicated servers? The only other game have this compatibility is Portal 2.

I ran break-in slides for the first 100 hours (just for picture) and I finally got to actually watch the tv Saturday night. I setup the custom mode setting for the tv turning off all of the image enhancing effects that I could and the input lag for the tv + my receiver is less than 25ms!
I was actually able to measure it this time since I found a display port to hdmi connector for my laptop and followed the procedure here to test: http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=1166196
Game mode seems to actually produce more lag than custom. I’m thinking about connecting the PS3 directly to the tv (sans-receiver) but I really think that the receiver could be only adding on 5ms of lag at the most. Plus it would be a huge inconvenience to have to switch the input on the tv and the receiver every time I wanted to play a game. (Still might do it)
Either way.. I’m able to play videogames on a big tv now.. yay me. I’m still getting used to the size of the tv. I think that has affected my playing a decent amount too.

Just found this .. Apparently Gun Game or some variation of it will be built into CS:GO under the name “Arsenal Mode”

They sure are taking a while to release it. I hear that there are all new characters / the old ones won’t be playable anymore.
I’m still excited, but I don’t know that I will have much time to play it with MW3 coming out!
Just curious but why do you want wake on lan? What type of traffic are you trying to make your computer detect to wake on?
