SpectatorInteresting choices. I was expecting Mortal Kombat, but the lack of MvC3 surprises me. I am a little curious about Melee though. Will a ten-year-old game still bring in a crowd. I’m not saying it won’t. I’m just curious.

SpectatorAlso, I gotta say, Mortal Kombat 9 teams tournament play would be epically awesome (although I wouldnt have anything against 1 vs 1).

SpectatorI appreciate it. I’ve sent him several PMs about various server issues over the last few months but he hasn’t visited the forums in over 6 months.

SpectatorPC Rules up, need to consolidate the 2 threads, or rename this one the Console Rules thread.
Might not be a bad idea to keep them separate for sake of organization.
Also, that tournament site looks good, real good.

Actually, it’s quite normal. I know several PS3 players saying that they would buy a 360 just for Gears. That and many Xbox owners say they specifically own the system for the Gears franchise.

One of the main reasons why my PS3 mainly goes untouched.

Spectator—Sorry, but I’m new to this. Why not just use Super Smash Bros Brawl? Also, what time does the tournament start?—-

October 4, 2011 at 5:15 pm #109582MasterP
SpectatorBecause they learned to play on Melee and don’t like the changes made in Brawl.
Consider yourself lucky that they’re using Melee. Last semester they used a modded version of Brawl <_>

Yeah. But it rewards those who are patient and accurate shots. Just be careful of the sawed off’s in close range shotty battles.

As for the second part of your question, I remember reading that they had a meeting to nail down tournament times and what not, I just haven’t seen them posted anywhere.
