They are gonna have 1000 mile races…yes races that will take about 3 hours to complete…dont worry they have an auto piolt system so you can go to the bath room and this is online…
Also if you can get a hold of 3 ps3 3 tvs and one copy of the game you can use one tv as the wind shield and one for left forward view and one for right forward view for a complete 180 view just like your in the car…They added it only for something cool to do at lans which is what they said…I saw videos of it…its as cool as it sounds..
Im gonna get it and we should so try it at the lan some time!

Im so disappointed…I got home and went to update the game and they posted a blog 1 day ago saying that it will not be released for at least a week or too, because when they posted the trophy info, people complained that they were too hard, and they were…how are u suppost to get 10billion points on anything on the game…i cant even get 1.5mil…and the rest of the trophies were just as outragous…u can go to their site and see what they are changing and adding.
If you would like to see the box for the resistance 2 standard edition and collectors edition…Included is info on the beta release and what will be included in the collectors edition, and how much they will be.
Im sad…according to the internet the emailed invitations for the closed beta for home were sent out yesterday…I didnt get one…but doing some more reading im not to sure if the info floating about is accurate or not…By the way the home beta application was actually downloading the home theme from the psStore, if u didnt know.

yea, same here. I’m having it as a playable game at my smash event this saturday. Its the PS3 version though. the control layout is the same as the 360 so using the ps3 controller isn’t different at all/I will be there and i will bring my copy of the game…also make sure u have the phone near u on sat.
how about Little big Planet…If u do it online u get a little big planet sack…with sackboy on it…not sure if u get it from anywhrere else

The good thing about MGS4 is those questions that you did have in all the other games are answered in this last game, it is genius, Hideo in essence did the same things Star Wars and LOTR did, he made it a set. I love non-answered questions in a story that are answered in a later series or something like that. Also I did say from the beginning that MGS4 has a TON of story in it, no MGS game has ever been any different, they all have that feel of it being a movie that has gameplay in it. You love it or you hate it, that is what it comes down to. Well i went a head and bought the game against my better judgement…Its OK and thats all it is…Its nothing like it was described and the online sucks….but I will play it i guess

Yes the overall MGS story can be confusing so thats why konami released a MGS Database…It is a library of info, timelines, characters, and relationships…This was done inorder to free up any confusion since its the last MG game with snake.

i’m waiting on a price drop for the ps3, (you said at the last lan theirs a package deal or sometihng coming out ~3months or something) and i plan on getting one allong with mgs4 and gta4currently working victoriously trying to get a engineering job i’m going to enjoy… this must take place b4 i can dump moneys on a ps3. and if my ski would stop blowing its topend i’d have the cash. soon soon.
Dude they released it allready you can get the 80gb bundled with MGS4 and a new dualshock 3 controler for $499 thats the one i was talking about…there wont be a price drop for a long time…but they are gonna raise the 40GB ps3 at $399 to 80GB this christmas

Me and a buddy of mine have been trying to get on the beta…we got really close…we managed to create a eruopean account and download the beta….but when we go to sign in it fails to connect…we think due to the fact that they know that we are american…but we tried…Well at least the title screen of the beta is nice lol
I remeber this well….was this the UT2k4 tourn. where we all got raped or one of the other ones…i cant see
Thats sounds fine but first lets wait till it comes out…you never know….The game could blow, or have bad sales….Im sure it wont but there are alot of other ps3 exclusives that will be out by the next lan such as haze, MGS4, killzone and others…we got time

Metal Gear Online Beta Postponed, Extended

Hi all! As many of you already know, the Metal Gear Online Beta, originally scheduled to launch today, April 21st 2008, has been postponed. Due to this, we’ve also put a hold on our regularly scheduled Metal Gear Mondays content on the PS Blog, to bring you the latest news.
Extraordinary levels of traffic from all over the world have caused the MGO Beta servers to destabilize, as such, the service has been unable to run. Because of this, we have made the following changes to the schedule.
The MGO team in Japan is currently working around the clock to stabilize the servers, and is aiming to launch gameplay this weekend of April 26th. We must note, given the current situation, this is subject to change.
To compensate for the delay, the MGO Beta period has been extended a week, now ending on May 11th. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please note that your MGO Beta UPVCs will only be valid up until May 5th 2008, so please make sure to register them by then.
