yea but all the other things are nessisay like the blue ray player if you do have a hd tv…cause im sure if everyone had a hd tv and a hd dvd or blue ray player they would buy the movies

anyways, i think everyone should take the advice from someone with a sugger daddy which has bought them both consuls, this way it limits the bias twards the one “you” have. and even then its still an opinion. so my opinion is PC > (xbox + ps3 + mac)^2

i appriciate it…thats what i was trying to find…and no im not a sony fan boy….i had an xbox and played it most of the time because it was better then the ps2 slightly…..and i soly stick to that way of gameing….i got the ps3 because it was overall the better system…it just sucks xbox360 came out a year before ps3 did so the supply of games is low…but no matter…i can just as easily play ps2 and ps1 games on it

also if anyone is interested go to http://www.IEEE.org to see published documentation done by a group of engineeers to get the reall answers…they have charts and graphs of every little thing and they talk about how the data is processed and distrubuted step by step in each system….in the study there they found that both the systems tests tested equally except for the fact that the ps3 because of the cell engine called the PPE asks the other 8cells called SPEs to do calculations for the ppe… this set up was designed to take the load off the main processor so they could push a bigger bader game…now the xbox has vurtualy the same set up in a diffrent form…except it has 3 processors instead of 9…so not for a couple of years you may not see the diffrence…but it is there…and not to mention above…its not that i am a sony fan boy…its because i thought it was a better investment

they are 500 and 600 but the five hundred is gutted…it doesnt have the wifi only 2usb ports, no media card ports (for digital cameras and others), it only has a 20gb hdd while the $600 has a 60gb hdd and all the features iv listed…but whats cool about the hdds you can actually remove the hdd and put a bigger one in!!!..im gonna be puting a 250gb hdd in it once i talk to sony about how to properly do it so i dont mess it up… and so there would be no hardware bugs sony incorperated programable hardware..so if there was a mass overheating issue they could send out a fix download for your machine that would “for instance, increase fan speed” and i bought the first generation ps3 and iv ran it for 3 days stright and had no problems…also as soon as i find the hack im puting OS10 on it lol… i would put windows on it but xp doesnt support the 9 core processor but vista does…but it will be a while before they hack that thing its still too new…and the ps3 OS now alows you to change OSs freely…but one of the best features is how it works witht e psp…you can remote into it with it and exchange data..like music movies and stuff like that…also like for ridge racer…the psp can be used a rear view mirror!!!!!

yea but check out the market standings they have to sell 3 and a half wiis to make up for the loss in money in systems, games and asseoryies….xbox and ps3 are winning….xbox is beating the ps3 only because the xbox has been out for a year longer than the ps3

sorry buddy check again halo 3 is gonna be on the ps3 sorry dude….and the xbox could never play the games ps3 could…plain and simple….just compare hardware….9processors versus 3 ummm enough said…the more the processors to take the load off the core, the better the overall game they can push on the main processor…also the xbox only had one game halo…i did my research and iv played with the xbox…im not impressed…it lacks several features the ps3 offers…by the way ps3 is making an extention that is comparible to wii to get the missing style of game play that the wii has…. now dont get me wrong the xbox and wii are great but i have higher expectations…

ps3 was ment for ultimate gamers with high expectations for a high price and people with hd tvs and xbox was ment for moderate gaming there the midrange…and the wii was ment for kids and low income families…they all fit in the market somewhere

also i think 1.6 sucks…its to primitive and simple
