Wow, i forgot to post for a long time. But i got my computer back roughly a week and a half. Shipped monday,
got it back tuesday afternoon all fixed.
Unfortunately, they are really adamant about repairing. (This was my 5th time sending it back.) And i tried
dropping it, kicking it, and slapping it just to “encourage” them to replace it. Instead they fixed up the beatings
and shipped the *edited* thing to me. T_T

Versus is pretty much Campaign ish, but you compete each other. o_O So maybe a versus instead ;o

I guess if you really want posts or something like that. Then just make a thread, only 1 thread, multiple would *edited* people off, and just have a conversation to yourself. Cause this way the people who participate (only you) would know what the hell is going on/what’s said. And most people wouldn’t read it or check it because they have other (better *ahem) things to do.

But in a sense it’s kind of funny, how some people take gaming way too seriously, then this stuff screws them over.
Better to just play for fun, spend money on something else…
I wouldn’t mind a GunGame or a Deathmatch (or hell even combine those two x.x).
Although… 24/7 dust 2 wouldn’t sound too bad either
I’m sure that valve/steam will eventually fix this issue. The only problem are those private hacks, since they get recoded/updated constantly, one step ahead of VaC. But I think a big chunk of the hacking population are just idiotic cheap noobs who use those free ones. Eventually they’ll slip and get banned. It happens.
Anyways, I called the HP Tech people. (Their hold music is obnoxious) They said they take
roughly two weeks maybe less. Thanks everyone for their help and opinions <3
Ha! One would think! But most of the people I know who have an HP laptop arn’t really satisfied.
I myself had many problems with this thingy. I sent it at least three times, and they keep giving me this
quasi-repaired laptop back only to break down again.
I guess you right that they at least cover the issue free in most cases. But time is money, and I seriously
am upset that i have to turn it in again. And yea NoDice i tried the power trick thingy you suggested, it
didn’t work. I don’t think it is the back light problem but just the video adapter/card issue.
Which means, i’ll probably be out for 2 weeks, hopefully less x.x

haven’t tried it yet, im at the library, but i’ll post it later if it works or if any other complications come up x.x

Well apparently it explains a lot here. This really shows how *edited*ty HP services and customer care has really gone.
This problem has been around a lot, and they havn’t really done much to fix it. Unforuntatly I should’ve done more research
when i bought mine, but yeah just a bit too late for me w/ this computer.
If your thinking about buying an HP or something just be careful, they have a lot of issues lately. T_T

im off on a trip back to China. Otherwise im going to get some wine, and cry the day off with some TV.
Yeah, it’s the DV-9000 one. Last time i sent it in for repairs, they took a gratuitous amount of time ~.~

2) power drain, you mean just take out the battery, then push the um… power supply or something for 20 seconds?
For the most part, it’s very effective in balancing. Once a while you still see people stacking by waiting in spec, but they can always be told/moved if necessary

I think we should definitely keep this “feature”. i think of it as keeping you on your toes, to check if anyone switched, plus

A nice way to solve the early round shootings in sk3, is well easy. Ya just take sk3 off the rotation XD, easiest way around it, no modding, minimal programming effort

But it does seem nostalgia is catching up with the rest of us. I’ve myself been pretty busy
with life (yes i found one finally! >.>), and miss all that free-time which i spend my time
on the server. Yes i miss you too raine >.>
