I’m just going to say that people need to pick their battles and even though something is legal doesn’t mean it’s not incredibly stupid.
Honestly I think the purple silhouette of the xbox controller with “WCU Gaming Club” is fine…
I don’t think we have to make them fancy or anything… but if you wanna put something on there different just put a quote on the back:
“I’d rather be gaming”
Yeah I just updated the server yesterday using that command for the first time….
But right now planning on 7:00PM EST as per usual.. might be on a bit earlier though not sure yet

I would buy a t-*edited* that was screen printed with a picture of biteys girl in a wcu gaming thong. So if bitey if you would upload that pic we’d have a t-shirt people would buy. and heck you’d get a free shirt of the deal its a win/win/win

TF2 is the same as it has been. The “unlocks” are not even locked anymore. The random hats and item drops do nothing to affect either side of the team so I don’t know what you are going on about. You can literally have any set up and still be completely competent when playing, whether you go all new items or all old items or whatever combo you want.

anyway I didn’t know they opened up everything, but that’s cool.. kinda like promoting everyone in mw2 to level 70 though
Yeah, I got tf2 to play it occasionally.. now I pretty much never play it because I don’t bother keeping up with all the many unlocks.

Just curious, but for 1.6 do you have to actually change the mapcycle before the admin can change the map to it?
I was on the server, but because of a steam outage that lasted on and off for an hour or more no one could see that… I’m sorry but I just got mad and left since because steam was down I couldn’t even get achievements by chiefing bots…

Is there any interest in doing this again on Thursday.. frankly it’s getting difficult for me to dedicate my time when I know no one will show up.

XBOX games are made specifically so a mouse cannot be used with them.
This hardcoded incompatibility is what killed Halo2 PC, it wasn’t until about a year after the release that they were able to get the entire hardcoding out. If you use a mouse on XBOX games, it *might* work but even if it does the average PC gamer would go nuts because it requires smooth movement. The “zip around and headshot” motion that all PC FPS games require does not work.
Raven told me he did this with MW2 and they suspended his XBL account for a month.. Mouse + Autoaim = hacks I guess LOL
they’ll never do it.. and if anyone suggests it they ban them from their forums

I think it will have a future as it does come with an SDK. It just worries me b/c there is currently only 1 campaign and if they don’t start getting out different maps/campaigns then it may die quickly.

I think we need to start hosting newer games, maybe it could in some way point gamers to our other servers or… This Awesome Website!
