This e-mail was sent to me and the header stated it was from noreply@steampowered.com to an e-mail address that I have one account with on steam… the only thing is.. I have no account with steam with the username kris1005. I’m not sure who actually sent me this e-mail.. but the links actually go to the sites they say (I checked without clicking). I reallg to don’t get it… I mean ordinarily I would think someone is trying to steal my password or account or whatever..

Someone might have submitted a password reset on your email. It’s happened to me several times. Just ignore it and DO NOT click the links.

I didn’t click the links.. but the think I’m wondering about is… how is the username wrong? I’m thinking the whole thing must be fake..

    That could be too.

There are so many scripts out there that steal Steam login creds that there’s really no telling.
