I want a public discussion with the students not the Alums. Only about 5 students that are club members actually post on this site anymore. Im not interested in hearing ANYTHING you Alumns have to say. Take it or leave it, I dont care.
Look, please for the LOVE OF GOD stop posting my facebook stuff on here, its aggravating to no end. Like I just posted, I am NOT advising anyone to come to this thread b/c of what I have already said. However, I am willing to possibly come to the clubs first meeting and have a little chat with the two VPs before it starts. If I like what I hear, Ill consider coming back. Unlikely but Im willing to talk to them and ONLY them about this. Thats all.

As far as *edited*ing about what happend on our website goes, I havent said a SINGLE thing about ANY of you until recently when I found out people were talking *edited* about me (as a matter of fact no one has on there). Ask Liquid or anyone else thats on there. They will tell you.
Sounds good to me. It’d be a relief to finally see someone on here who claims to care about this club so much but only participate on the forums.

The only thing I *edited*ed up on was booking a room 1 time. Thats it. I got sponsors for the club (Papa’s pizza being the biggest help) and held all kinds of events to promote it. But guess what. Neither the current president or PC VP helped me do A *edited*ING THING except get the new server up and running and your telling me Im a bad president? *edited* you Raven. Your judgement is flawed and your an arrogant douche who only “knows” the half truths that people tell him. The only thing you do for this club is update the skin for the forums. Thats it. So you can go *edited* yourself sir.
The only reason you guys have a problem with me is b/c I wont kiss your asses like Freezer and Shingi. All alot of you do on here is *edited* and moan and add features to the forums, thats it. As a matter of fact the only people that still get on these forums on a regular bases that are still students are Liquid, Flakes, Ritsuka, and Ephraim. Thats about it. The rest of you are people who have never even been to this school or are graduates. Come on people, get a life. Do something else besides being on these forums 24/7 which is suppose to be for the students to begin with. And if your going to be on here alot AT LEAST TALK ABOUT GAMING! *edited*, the only threads that have been recently put up involving gaming was the one by Flakes about E3! Come on guys! You tell me I dont know how to run a gaming club? Well at least I know enough that a forum about GAMING is a place to TALK ABOUT GAMES (not *edited* like politics).
Now I dont have problems with everyone on here but Ill tell you all something. If you want to talk *edited* to me, dont get on the exec boards and talk *edited* about me. You all know where I am. Come say it to my *edited*ing face.
Well thats not the point im trying to make ephraim. I dont want to work alongside people who think little of me and like to hide things from me. Im sick of all the bull*edited* that is said about me behind my back and it *edited*es me off. Now Im not accusing you of this but the people Im talking about know who they are.

Actually thats not what Ive heard (from a very credible source actually). From what I was told, the president (or former president idk or care) said that you guys didnt want people like me around (which *edited*es me off, hince why Im on here). Im just trying to prevent an argument from starting, so yea, get rid of my account.
Anyone that actually gives a *edited* about gaming and is fed up with this so called “gaming club”, shoot me a message.

Sorry about the late update guys, Ive been busy as hell lately trying to scope out a definite place for the LAN and I have decided that the Multi Purpose room is going to be our best bet. And If I am not mistaken, I have informed Shingi and Freezer about this and they agree with me. Also, I am expecting fliers to be up at the latest by the 26th. Thanks all, and I will be back on later with more updates.

I call you a fanboy b/c you show the qualities of one. Only a fanboy/childish person would say a LAN was “*edited*ed” b/c their favorite game wasnt voted in. Come on man, grow up. When games such as Soul Calibur IV (my favorite fighting game ever) get voted out of the LANs, I never complain about it or say the LAN was not fun b/c I know that is just a straight up lie.
Poor decisions? For the past few LANs we have had an attendance of around 80-100 at least and you call that a poor turnout? Come on, you have no idea what your talking about. Just because the LAN wasnt perfect in your eyes doesnt mean others didnt show up and have fun. Maybe if you didnt look at the LAN from such a egocentric point of view, you’d see that.

What’s he going to do…? Ban me for having a differing opinion from him? I doubt he is that powertrippin, but judging from his previous actions who knows.
And for your information, I was accepted to wcu with honors(or some such *edited*) 2 years ago so I’m a prospective student.
I would assume someone that is/has applying to your school is a prospective member, so maybe I can just stick around, since you know… that’s the whole purpose of this club to bring people in to the school.
I guess he could just delete my posts, that seems to be his answer thus far.
Thats fine if you stick around, go ahead. The only problem here is that you do seem to just be whining and honestly, Ive seen people be banned for things much less harsh than what you said. And if he did decide to ban you, I’d back him up. You have no idea what we all go through to keep this club running (both the students here on campus and the Alumni here on the forums) and you calling our club and decision “*edited*” is out of line. either grow up and give some professional constructive criticism or leave your choice. Its that simple.

How many of that 25 were console players? Of course you’re going to pull in every PS3 player if you play a fighter game on another system. The point he was trying to make, and that I’ve made several times, is that you aren’t growing the PC side. You have a “strong” tournament, big deal, those aren’t PC players. If you replaced the entire PC lineup with console fighters you’d have the strongest PC turnout in years but that doesn’t mean it was a successful PC LAN. All it means is that you know how to artificially inflate turnout on a console of your choosing.
You do know that we actually had a fair amount of PC gamers playing this game too right? And a good portion of those people actually wanted to use the keyboard to play (and I watched one of them while he was practicing and he was actually doing pretty good against the CPU). Im actually trying to work on making this happen (use the keyboard for the game in a 2 player vs match, which Im sure will not be a problem). Honestly we had a decent turnout for this game from both the PC, PS3, 360, and Wii owners of the club. Diss the game if you want, but its a good game and has some potential, which has been proven. I mean come on, would you complain if I tried to hook up a PS3 controller while playing TF2 during the LAN?

If Im not mistaken 25. Which is, from what I was told, a good turnout for the PC side.
And as far as you stacking the votes go, if you do not show up to the meeting and are not an exec or CL then you can not vote over IRC. The reason for this is to prevent stack voting like you are suggesting. If you want to show up to our next meeting and vote on the games then fine be my guest. Bring as many people as you want. But you actually have to show up.

As far asa LMP goes Mitch, I asked the 2 VPs if they would rather book mutiple rooms or try to work something out with LMP and they both thought that it would be best to work something out with LMP (as do I). So this is not just my idea, me, Freezer and Shingi think that it is worth a shot. We will be hamering out the details with them later and if it does not seem they have the clubs best interest in mind, we just wont do it, its that simple. I have already booked multiple rooms in case this falls through.

When PC games are terrible we quit playing them and they quickly die. After a couple fails the developer learns to quit making terrible games or they close shop. This cool trick also works with console games.
I keep playing the game because it is fun and there are a TON of characters (around 60 some I believe). Im not going to let 4 broken characters ruin a good game for me.
