Alright, bump. We adopted the proposal about spawn shooting, and I have placed it between rule 11 and the former rule 12 of the general population rules. it is the new rule 12:

 

Do not fire into the opposing team's spawn within the first three seconds of a round in any manner that prevents players from being able to leave spawn

i’ll probably have some time friday to look at it at work, since i’ll be there all day and fridays are pretty slow, so I might just lug it up there to try. if i don’t manage that, then it’s going to be cutting it too close to exams, and right now i’m running linux off the same computer perfectly stable, and it can still get to every one of my files and do anything i need for school related things. I really don’t need to risk trashing this thing right before exams

well, in the minutes or so preceding the power outage, something inspired my motherboard speaker to tone constantly and my computer to freeze…
