I know. I was just listing the developer’s rules for character eligability in Brawl. It goes without saying that they would also have to obey legally binding contracts. Strangely enough, under these laws, Battletoads are not eligable for inclusion, but Altair is.

If you have a short-range weapon and come across a long-range weapon, should you take it? I know this would leave the mid-range wide open, but couldn’t you just use the long-range and grenades to work things out?

Star Wolf may have originated in Star Fox 2, but their introduction to the general public was in Star Fox 64. It was many years after 64 that 2 became available to download. Of course, if the business people at Nintendo had their way, nobody would ever download any of their propery, no matter how obscure it may be. They’ve always been bulldogs.
