Its real close Kip, all I need to do is set up a meeting with Stephen Wilson and Jason Lavigne, if anyone can help expedite that issue, please do as Stephen is very hard to get a hold of.
The server lagged with 24 people this is not because 4 more clients are connecting to the server this is multiple issues with the server that will be resolved either over the summer or at the beginning of next semester.
Do I need to reference people in this club that have been caught cheating before? And held a much higher position than admin… People mature and people change, if a person shows up at my door telling me they have changed I give them the opportunity to show me. I didn’t go out searching for Ellaine, she came back to WCU. So no she gets a chance to show me why she should be here and have admin, most people who are denied, you never hear from again, Urban was one of the few. How many chances did we give him?
IMHO, This whole thing about not playing on a server because of one person is extremely childish, I’m sorry Freeman and Kuros, but you guys seriously need to grow up, I know what its like to deal with people who are extremely hard to get along with (Raven/Urban), and yet I did not push them away I did as much as I could to understand where they were coming from and get them what they wanted to make them happy, the difference is they never got to the point where they were happy, they always wanted something else, or there was something else that I was doing wrong, or something not the way they want me to do it. My point is Ellaine has shown me a very good general interest in contributing to the club and wanting to better what we do here, put your judgmental biases of the past behind you and please for the sake of the club, grow up, I say this with love guys….
I mean Saturdays in general, like do you normally work, or do you normally go home, can you get an hour or so on Saturday to come to a meeting?
I need peoples time that they will be available for a meeting on Saturday, all execs please reply to this thread with available times on Saturday.
I can kind of understand why they would want to setup the route that way, a lot of communication goes on between NY and LA when it comes to commercials and movie media, so they need as much bandwidth as possible to transfer media like that 400 MB/s is the minimum to safely transfer video files and not get any artifacts in the footage. Maybe that is why Time Warner has it setup like that. Oh and I too know how it is with Time Warner and trying to deal with them on the phone, but if you complain enough you’ll get your way…
Server is back up, anytime it goes down just let me know, fastest way to get in touch with me is IRC or steam friends, if I am not at my computer Liam or someone who knows my number will usually call me and let me know.
We unban if no demo is present, admins don’t have the power here, the execs do, there is a thread not visible to regular users called Demos. If a player appeals their ban a demo is asked for, if one is not provided then the appealing player is unbanned, if one is provided it is reviewed by the Council Leader and other members of the Executive staff. If the player is found guilty then the appeal is denied, if not they are unbanned.
I see what yall are saying, but I think there is just as much camping in regular as there is in hardcore, either way its up to Chupa what the server is on, I am waiting on his configs.
What do you like about it? I can’t stand regular mode, it takes more shots to kill someone than it does in source…but now they can hide and regain health…
