ex_interp 0.01
cl_updaterate 101
fps_max 101
rate 30000
Start your cl_updaterate at 101 then lower your cl_updaterate until the models become less choppy and more fluid
pure ex_interp 0.01 is sometimes too choppy in some servers
yep yep. Just waiting on the server IPs to change, other than that, the 1.6 servers are ready for use
reinstall steam completely (save your config.cfg file first), after you uninstall thru add/remove programs, delete the steam folder from c:\program files. Then reinstall steam completely.
All the 1.6 servers are completely built and ready to use.
Any ideas for good gungame maps? Right now its just a generic list of maps.
Let go ahead and wait for the new server to be up (which its almost finished btw) before we do that. We’ll restart at 7am. I didnt know people were on that late. I look at the server in the mornings and its empty usually between 6-9am
No surprise they wouldnt zoom in on Bill’s Cards. Fox doesnt really support his theory. Both arguments are strong. I’m torn on the issue TBH
I believe FireDaemon restarts the server at 5am. We can change that to a different time if we have people playing at that time.
Also, i’m not sure how to see the last people that were connected (i cant remember the amx command) Anyone know it?
Also, feel free to send me and steamid or usernames that you need banned. I can look up the logs to get the steamid’s to ban.
One thing that works in the 1.6 server is having a good rotation with d2 appearing more than once. For example, the server starts on d2, plays about 3-4 maps, then d2 again, another 3 or so maps, d2 again….etc etc
Seems to work fairly well. Our population is somewhat steady and avgs about 14-16/29
The forty days represent the time that, according to the Bible, Jesus spent in the desert before the beginning of his public ministry, where he endured temptation by Satan. It is traditionally supposed to bring you closer to God and show him that you can go 40 days without something that you usually have.
