Dang, thats hardcore. Events are fun, but definitely need to be prepared for em. This event should be interesting because of Reach being on the pro circuit. I don’t know how much you followed DC but I personally know Trigga (HotNMild) and Calmm (Victorious Secret)

With games like this you can’t just say “HEY LOOK, LAN!” People want to see what kind of tournament it is without the hassle of going to find it.
SC2 Rules:
1v1
Blizz Maps
No Race Changing
Depending on entrants everything up until Quarters is Bo1
Bo3 in Quarters, Semis
Bo7 in Finals
If enough interest there will be a losers and a winners bracket, though due to time constraints, doubt it.
Prizes: ???
Sponsors (add the logos, etc)
For the tournaments, I can create different flyers that would go up at the places in Asheville. Also, if I were to post the tournament rules on the flyers I wouldn’t include WCU LAN but rather the specific tournament that flyer was for. If everyone is okay with that I don’t mind doing it but do see a benefit in posting that more so at LAN centers and Gamestops in asheville.
Definitely but I will need the rules posted first :/. Sooooo, if those people could go ahead and get those rules figured out that would be great!
I appreciate it, does anyone know where we can get these printed for cheap or free? When could we get them printed by? I want to get these posted ASAP
Haha that would be pretty sweet, I think i’m going to start hosting them, I think if it comes down to it there will be 4 people there but with 4 T.V.’s and Xbox’s that would be pretty fun 2v2s. Hopefully if I decide to have these attendance would get greater and greater. I have to talk to a couple more people to make sure this will work.
Updated flyer of the Starcraft. I didn’t like the text on the old one so I decided to change it.
Feedback!!
Haha I know its quite sad
. Know anyone else in Sylva that games that would come? I got 1 or two people I think would goThanks for the feedback guys!
I would love to run for marketing admin but have no idea on how to go that route lol. Hopefully, depending if more people like it, I can start to post these in the dorms, bulletin boards across campus and places in Asheville.
Here are some of the flyers I am working on to post at the LAN centers and wherever else is needed. I am trying to use pictures of more popular games to draw the most possible attention to these flyers and hopefully the LAN.
Feedback please!!
I would love to help and have already started to design flyers to post at the LAN Centers and Gamestops in Asheville and Waynesville, I just need a ride lol. I am also going to post on MLGpro’s forum to try and post our LAN to try and get Georgia, Virginia, NC, and SC people to come out for the madden and halo tourneys. I created a twitter for WCU Gaming a little while ago and your more than welcome to log in to that and use that. PM for the login info.
Let me know what you need help with i’ll be more than happy to help.
Another potential sponsor.
Astro– (Video game equipment, such as headsets)
Is the LAN still Dec. 11th or are we trying to push the date closer? Im trying to find out so I can go post flyers at the LAN centers and Gamestop in Asheville.
So where would be a good place to post these tournaments? Should I try and make a Tournament Thread and get it stickied? If so which forum would be appropriate to post it in?
Something along these lines would be in the thread.
The Official Tournament Thread

Should I bring print outs of the designs for the meeting, that way if people do not use the forums they will be able to see them then.
Haha okay, well who do I need to talk to in order to get these LAN centers on the News page of the website
I got in contact with GameXcape in Asheville and they said they would be happy to post our fliers in his store. Ill post when upcoming tourneys are for GameXcape in the forums since I do not have access to manage the webpage.
Has anyone else contacted anyone or is this my job lol
Soooooo no ones interested? I would love to do this so if you know people who would or you personally would let me know ASAP I am trying to get this going pretty fast preferably.
I know with MLG personalization with GT on the back is about 10 more dollars than their normal shirts, so I am assuming it would be around that.
I will add another section to the poll without that, buttt we can always have Back #1 without the gamertag if the people who voted on #1 like that one as well.
Keep me updated about the status of the shirts and what the execs decide.
So whats the deal with the shirts? Do we have enough votes to start printing and giving a quote on pricing?
Votes please!!!
If you know people who don’t usually get on and check the forums and know they would like a shirt please get them to vote!!
Well I will start contacting them then, lemme know if anyone knows of places I haven’t already mentioned in the thread.
I didn’t know, so I was just making sure before I told the LAN centers something that the club or the executives would did not want to do.
I also like Flakes idea as well
