it seems that everyone who plays has a weapon that they absolutely hate. I want to know what it is and what you call it. personally, i hate the cp90. (yes i have been known to use it) but it is spray and pray to the max. with a fifty round clip, you can literally kill three people in a hallway without even aiming at them. in my originality i call it the “noob gun”
lawl, back in the day in 1.6 i could alsways call the T team to all buy p90s and rush B or short A, and i dont think but maby twice of 30 times we dident mow everyone over…
p90s is a fun gun, allong with the PARA, TMP, Autoshotty AKA noob cannon/Blaster.
W/o the different weapons i beleave teh game would be dull. everyone would have same weapons.
Despite what Kuros says, there are like at least 4 different things people call the “noob cannon” – the autoshotty, the pump, the awp, and the deagle, not to mention the auto snipers. But really, it’s not the gun that *edited*es me off, it’s how it’s used
I was always under the impression that the autoshotty was refered to as the “noob tube” except in office, when both shottys share that name.
i dunno, the pump takes some skill, cause if you screw up on the first shot, you’re probably screwed, but with the p90 you can lay waste to teams. I’ve been a big user of the p90 and I know that that sucker pulls and 40 percent hs without you trying, i’ve gotten three hs in a row just sweeping and have totally destroyed a few teams on nuke. Not that i’m great, but if they rush outside and you rush b ramp and no one is watching the back, it’s on. The tmp is a monster, the sucker can nail people without you having to try, plus with the silencer they don’t have a clue till it’s to late, the TMP rush through apartemnts on inferno is nasty, especially if you can catch a stalled a rush. The autoshotty is pretty ridiculous, but it’s also 3k so most people would refrain from using it. But the deagle, ahhhh the deagle, is my nemsis, many a time have i run around a corner and gotten insta-gibbed by a deagle allstar. The awp is ok, but its more frustrating to me, the thing can just stop rushes cold, especially on aztec and italy and such, but i mean you can also really mess them up when you catch them unawares.

Krieg and the Bullpup (or SG551 and AUG for you newer people) will ALWAYS be noob weapons to me. A noob can pick one up and spray with it, snipe with it, and burst with it. It is BY FAR one of the easiest weapons to use in the game. Why learn to aim long-distances with a colt or an AK when you can just pick up one of the aforementioned weapons and just scope with it? They’re a crutch (or krutch if krieg) to me and always will be. Pre-source the Krieg and Bullpup were only used on certain situations if any at all, since they were so inaccurate and not as powerful.
The P90 and TMP both are ridiculous to me as well, as stated earlier a person can just run around without even any aim or skill and spray with either of the weapons, getting headshots left and right without even aiming or trying to. The damage they deal is ridiculous when it comes to above the torso and if it’s on the head it kills instantly. Pre-source the P90 and TMP were jokes, and they still should be.
The shotgun is the new AWP, imo. A person can kill me from 100 yds away with a shotgun in one hit, its not even funny. If your crosshair is near the target AT ALL then you’re going to do AT LEAST 75 to him, more than likely killing in one shot. It is by far one of the most bull*edited* weapons so far, if a noob buys an autoshotty he can just run around and kill maybe one or two every couple of rounds with it, but if you compare damage the autoshotty doesn’t kill in one shot most of the time while the shotgun will kill instantly with it. Doesn’t that seem a bit off?
The AWP and Deagle are hardly noob weapons though, a noob will get rushed or killed from behind with an awp 9/10 times and the deagle prevents people from spraying and since there aren’t as many rounds in the clip you can’t fire as much as you can with the P228. Distances the Deagle is far superior and if you can aim at all, the Deagle is superior to the P228 as well.
what? the shotgun actually works reliably for y’all? man, i get pwnd every time I break it out, I can spray someone with it 2 or 3 times close range and do 0 damage.
Anywho, you true skill warriors, I’m tellin ya, if you learn to noscope the scout, you’ll be golden! Seriously, at my peak a few weeks back I was pulling all sorts of shat straight out of my backside…
i have to disagree where the bullpup is concerned. its scope is good, but the *edited* thing jumps around so much that if you don’t hit in the first two shots with it, you get owned. also the m4 beats it easily at short to medium range.
i agree that the bullpup is weak on the sniping, but have you tried the run foward and shoot? it’s pretty accurate at that, i think more so than the m4, i dunno for sure, cause i rarely buy it, the krieg is a better sniper, but not quite as good in closer quaters, but the ak and m4 are better deals (though i hate the 90 damage hs of the m4 and have come to hate it, but only as a ct, somehow when i’m t, i can kick some *edited* with it…wish i knew why) but if your down with dropping the extra cash they are good support guns, but the famas is a better sniper than the m4 and bullpup, line up the hs zone and burstfire to victory.
oh yeah, and i also fail at the shotty, i always get the 1 hit for 10 damage or the 80 in 3 or some other bizarre cs calculation than always equals my doom
I got noobed from all the way across de_contra for 106 damage. I pick up a tube and I get 1 hit for 10 damage in the chest…WTF?!
the shotty used to be a much better weapon, being that it was semi-auto, you could shoot it as fast if not faster than the auto, but retain the pumps power. pure pwn
Auto shotty sniped in the head from one end of de_train to the other. It rarely happens, like maybe once every couple months, but it prolly makes me cus and punch my monitor and bounce it off the wall more than anything.
I remember when raine made fun of me and called me a noob for spamming dualies ahahaha… btw dualies are still probably the funnest weapon in the game, not to mention they reload awfully cool!
yea duelies are cool, but you know your good when you can pwn with the glock (not me personaly, just saying in generality)
famas and galil, cuz you dont really need skill to aim them, ak screws me up from time to time and ive been playing cs 6 or 7 years, and the ak just can suck but also be godly, famas and galil i use a lot in pubs to get random hs’s and easy kills lol
lets see, the gun i actually hate is…..hmm….ummm……mac10….
go try to fire the mac10 accurately….you will only hit the same spot twice 2-3 times in an entire clip….
all the other guns take some skill to actually hit the poor bugger…the mac10 is just random
i’ve been using the famas a lot, it’s a ton of fun, person at range? burst fire to victory. close? spray, that sucker loves head shots, i’ve gotten decent at flipping between the two modes burst the first couple and then finish with spray
the mac 10… i tried it cause i thought it’d be gangsta, i can’t get anything with it, and i love the tmp and i thought the two would be a litte similiar.. but nope
the ak is bipolar with me, sometimes i’ll be on a roll and get some good shots other times 26 damage hs… how do you explain that one….

For me, the M4A1 would have to be my favorite rifle and the beretta for a pistal. Can’t beat a silenced auto weapon and a pistol with 20 rounds in it.
True the m4 and beretta use 9mm rounds and lack the punch of some of the other rifles and pistols, but they fire so *edited* fast it makes up for it.
The M4 is evil for headshots and people without armor too.
So far as hating a weapon, its not so much the weapon as the user, but a noob with an awp who thinks its fun to sit in spawn and just blast at people across the map. -.-
Eh *edited* the m4a1, that gun is trash, it actually uses a 5.56 round not 9mm. In counter strike it is still a pos. one hit to the head with an ak. 600 dollars cheaper, that means I can buy 2 flashes or or a flash and nade plus the gun for the price i spent on an m4. Go clarion instead, its like 2100 dollars, and has 3 shot burst that will kill in one hit, that gun works a lot better from a distance than m4 does.

It’s awesome from what I’ve seen, though the 3-shot burst gives you a bit of a lag time between shots because of the recoil/reload? I’m not totally sure on why seeing as it should pop off 3-round bursts as fast as you can hit the trigger.
I looked earlier as well, your right on the pricing/diff between the ak/m4. I’ll keep that in mind from now on when shopping. Maybe I can save some money for a chance.
