i don’t know about prodigy (which is an awful map with many people, the T team get’s totally choked 9/10 times), but chateau definitely sounds like a good idea to me. sure, it is a bit sided, but the choke points are not easy to defend well, and the map always plays nicely in my opinion. deagle 5 still is awful

so-cal, while your point can apply to NoDice, Kappa plays in the server like every day…i don’t know where you’ve been, because he’s on my friends list and i see him all the time, talk to him all the time, etc.
but yeah… with a decent vote like this, and just a generally good idea, i don’t see why we can’t try it for a little, and if people like it just leave it. and if too many people don’t like it, we can always go back… regular players won’t stop playing here after this, they’ll just give their .02 and see what happens

Well along with the auto-balancer… which can be on when the admans are not…I have come to the realization (thanks to Liam and other leet admans) that the admans themselves need to exercise balance as well. The combination of the two would beat any computer algorithm.
So basically, it is my understanding that admins are encouraged to help balance the server.
yeah i’ve tried to do that in the past. for some STRANGE REASON, whenever i swap someone (i usually do the swap for the end of a round), the autobalancer always puts that person back on the team. it’s uncanny the way it happens, and i dunno why it is

it’s the people that use the mic for TOO much *edited* not related to saying where a T or CT is/where bomb is/etc
i love going ct for the *unique* camping spots that render me invisible to the novice eye

Aztec is probably my favorite map in the rotation, and it *edited*es me off when it gets rocked. This is why it keeps happening: Because it is a CT sided map, good people that just worry about stats tend to go CT (I’ll admit, I do it a bit myself) and stack CT. This leaves the not so great players, along with one or two good ones, on T, stuck on their side of DD and Bridge and Water after one round, because they are dominated every time they try to exit. Hence the RTV. I blame Valve.
. (On the other hand, since I know that Liam has other stuff to do besides manage CSS (like his OpenGL project), when he DOES get to the autobalancer and other nuances of the server, and that stuff works *better*, Aztec will play more balanced and will stop getting rocked.)

i think every time he applies for admin he should be denied. he doesnt even know who chantz or has ever played with him (i think). and 99% of his posts are reviving old dead topics to get the post count up.

but i still love yaoh, i realize that. i’m saying that it shouldnt be allowed since there are only two clans that as a group really play on the server. any other clans that would advertise on the forum would just be from single players joining the server at random times and coming to the forums at random to advertise. it just wouldnt make any sense.

look, i hear what you’re saying, but regardless of how many times we say that just because someone is good they arent hacking, people won’t listen. i’ve personally told people many times, taken my time to demo those that *more respected* people accuse sometimes, and try to deter this, but the fact is this: lots of people that play on WCU are having fun. the skill level is not that you’ll find in a league or more competitive server. people play to have fun on here, and when they get rampaged, they start saying crap. if you are being accused, then there are a couple of options: tell someone to spec you if they really think you are hacking, or *oh my god* take a demo of yourself and post it as proof on here so that we as admins dont have to take the time to spec you ourselves

to be honest here, i spent about 10 rounds. thats 10 ROUNDS on losttemple spectating clams. i took a demo (that i can post on here if need be) and saw nothing hackish about him. that’s not to say that he isn’t necessarily doing something, but from my somewhat long spectating i saw nothing. he’s good. deal with it. if you cant kill him, run the other way. suicide if need be. but stop whining, nobody wants to hear it.
