As for being l50, I was. Period.
Halo 3 will be good, as a console shooter, but look for the Orange Box to make big, big waves.
I find myself lacking envy. I don’t own a 360 and, honestly, don’t plan to.
Halo 1 was better than Halo 2, and I fear Halo 2 will have been better than Halo 3. Additionally, it all feels so… stolen — Stolen from Half Life.
The flood == Headcrab/Zombies, for one thing. I mean jeebus, the zombies even look alike.
HL2 still rocks the socks when it comes to FPS, and honestly I think it won’t be eclipsed until we see HL3, though Halo has some good multiplayer.
PS: I was level 50 in Halo 2 Multiplayer before the first stat wipe. Good times, fun multiplayer. Singleplayer made me very, very dissapointed, and that’s where the fun is for me.

I think the whole issue would be solved by one thing:
Mod the autobalance setting to take player rankings and KDRs into account, forcing truly even teams.
Just for the record, I 110% agree that admin conflict is bad. Public conflict is worse. Disobeying someone ranked higher than you is stupid.
It’s not those things I support, but the mapvote in general.
But if Kuros was there, he shoulda known better. Still, he was just trying to do what he thought was right for the server.

I wasn’t there, but I know how you feel… It’s hard, sometimes, to do what’s best for the gameplay experience…. It seems like, if you try to fix something, you just get yelled at for meddling.
Giving the admins discretion on when to mapvote is totally legit. If there was a DRASTIC landslide (there was) of votes towards a swap, that’s 100% OK.
I, personally, will only allow a mapvote to go through it it’s more than a 75%ish victory.
I think, from all the stories I’ve been told, you guys did the right thing if there was really a 17v3 vote.
I stand behind you 100%, not that it’s worth much. I got kicked plenty today by Kuros/GXTI for a ban I made… I guess I’m not popular, but I do my job and I do it to the best of my abilities.

seriously .. Cal restricted the auto 2 years ago. You know what happen? People when to a new league. The stuff is in the game for a reason. IF the are using the awp, go grab a MP5. The game is balanced.
If you wouldn’t dream of putting restrictions on 1.6 why are you doing it in source?
Where is the auto team balance? that should fix the problem

I also have that theme on my comp. I just liked Royale better since it’s 100% black and I like things as clean as they can stay (as you can probably see.)
It’s RocketDock. The only good one.
And no, I’m no Mac Wannabe. Windows > Mac for actually doing things, Windows > Mac for most UI choices, Mac > Windows for not having the lame (and utterly worthless) Start Bar.
Usually, in fact, that start bar on mine is turned off entirely and will only appear when the Window key is pressed. The Dock is autohidden unless scrolled over.

Dock do not belong in windows. Period. Your style isnt even close to being better than mine. Its the Royale Noir by microsoft, besides the fact thats its microsoft to begin with, its an UNFINISHED THEME. You should try the microsoft zune theme. Its sort of the finished version.
I know mine is the Royale Noir, but it’s a custom, more finished version that I played around with.
