Ninja Vanish
SpectatorSo, today we had another possible cheating incident. Player netting over 50 kills on dust with deaths in the single digits, getting headshots while blinded and through smoke, following players through boxes, twitch one-shot kills, etc. The usual. I saw occassional evidence of both auto-aiming and wallhacking and recorded a demo that I’ll include as soon as I can find it.

Osama and others can confirm if they happen to find this thread.
(I’ll attach the demo asap!)
P.S. I know I’ve said this before, and I don’t want to be an *edited*, but we really need some admins on during peak hours. Fascist Flakes and Brian usually pop by, but today they were oddly absent, and it isn’t cool that a hacker can dominate gameplay when the server is at 20+.

SpectatorIt might help if we had another admin or two who played at odd times or was on frquently since the majority of the admins all tend to be on at around the same time period. I can’t off hand put an exact time down as Im lucky if I know what time it is right now but we go long streches with no admin around. And im too lazy to go fire up irc and let them know crap is going down on the server.

OK boys, I am the head admin in Bitey’s old clan. I played with a hack awhile back by the name of coconut. I used it to spec suspected hackers on our pub. This hack was ingenious as it didnt alter or install .dll or .exe files so it was (at the time) VAC proof. However, once a steam update was released, it would render the hack useless, usually by changing one of the cvars the hack used to operate. It would also change the players name to #empty or empty. It didnt have an aimbot, but lining someones head up thru a wall you could see through was easy enough to make a head shot without one. It also disabled smokes and flashes as well as having a no-recoil hack as well. You could pretty much process this dudes ban without a demo, because his name makes it pretty obvious he was using the coconut hack. I also suggest you familirize yourself with hacks (not use them mind you) so you know what to look for when they are being used. Bitey can vouch for me on my experience.

SpectatorAll admins have access to all Steam-based games, which is currently all of them.
