Also this is the place, the club has the right to know about your transgressions at club gatherings.

Btw, since you’re reading this, now that TF2 is free it could easily be made to be a huge draw for the PC section if someone that cares about it is elected into PC leadership. I’ve tried to contact Felix about this and other issues over the last few months but other than joining your minecraft server to ask I don’t think he’ll ever bother to respond. Speaking of minecraft, how’s the server been since I optimized it?
The problem with the attendance with the LANS is that most of the PC side has lives now, that include weekend activities. They don’t want to spend the entire Saturday cramped up in the LAN waiting for their tournaments to come up when they could be out with their girlfriends or drinking. I myself might not make it because of much the same reasons.

SpectatorWe had some people getting into it last semester.. but most of us got sidetracked by other expensive hobbies.. such as: airsoft, MTG, lightsabers, etc.
ManlyMoose
SpectatorIf it gets voted in, any game can make it, look at this last lan. Hell, we had Warcraft 3 with one of the highest attendance. Most current members do not play CS in any form, so it would be a long shot.

SpectatorIf you head over to SCC they still have free printing in BW at their library.

So pretty much all you commuter lounge kids got treated to the same *edited* you put other people through, sweet. I think the guy that won BlazBlue and Brawl should be promoted to Console Pres.

Second, FacistFlakes, please don’t be a sore loser because you lost. Learn what SARCASM is before you jump. Considering I, ManlyMoose, had top kills on the first map (218 with the second highest being 109), and tied for top on the second map. I would say that was MVP, not to mention top infected damage.Yeah… you see, L4D is a team game, and from what I could tell you ran ahead and deserted your team for the most part. Score means pretty much jack diddly in L4D unfortunately, and if you couldn’t tell, you were the one being saved 95% of the time. MVP != you, MVP == Your team for carrying you.
This is the last I will say on this topic, as this is merely ridiculous. I was team point. I cleared out, pulled special infected, and risked my own character to improve the performance of the team as a whole. I’ll admit, if I was not point, my scores would have been terrible as that is not my play style. Once again, please learn sarcasm or stop assuming. /DONE
Also, I would like to ask that my original post, and any or all posts thereafter involving this discussion be removed as this public display of all of us being asinine is unbecoming to public image.

You already got a “Special” prize. Only the movies were supposed to be the prize, not the cash.
You were not at the meeting. Who was it that came up with the layout initially for prizes with our limited funds? ME. (in so much that I was the token “Jew” for crunching the payout amounts on the board while everyone argued over this and that) It was first set at $10 with the movies being an auction.

As for the douche who won BlazBlue, ask anyone who was actually apart of the tournament. All he did was *edited* about it being on the PS3… after winning. Last time I checked, that was being a poor sport.
ManlyMoose
SpectatorI’ll be Tekken’ing it up with you this coming weekend Kaz. Glad to see some others are interested in it.
ManlyMoose
SpectatorHeh… I should have gotten a special prize for having more kills in L4D then the rest of my team combined… and more damage.
I agree, the idiot who won BlazBlue was a jerk. He was good, I’ll give him that, but when you complain constantly about WINNING… and about what console something is being played on when you are not apart of the club? Poor sportsmanship. I’m happy with my 3rd place Soul Calibur 4 standing… while playing Rock… (albeit on was against a new guy). I need to practice up with my Amy again so I can stomp Crash next Lan… who’s up for some practice?
As for the L4D problems, it was not a real problem, did not affect the overall of the game really. *edited* happens, we move on.

Btw, where did you read that alumni can’t be in leadership positions because I’m pretty sure the majority of greeks and a good number of clubs do this all the time.
Article 4 (I think) for club formation states that all members need be either a. Full time students, b. Part time student (such as a senior on their final semester) with permission from the director of the SGA. Continue down to the next one for electing officers, it states that club officers must be a member of the club. It does not specifically state that server/forum admin is or is not an office, probably because this was not a problem when the by laws were stated. From the current tracks that the SGA has made recently if we were investigated they would either say it was implied or amend the by laws.
Anywho, moving on. Let’s leave this discussion for the meeting shall we?

Well if that is the case, I am sure all the alumnis will gladly delete their accounts and stop being a part of the club. BTW you might want to amend the constitution and remove the alumni advisor position because that is also in violation of said rules.
BTW, the servers are property of Residential Living, not SGA or whoever you think they are property of, so we only lose them if Residential Living says so.
I guess everyone is forgetting that alumni have always helped the club in this manner. If someone else is actually willing to learn everything needed to keep the club running, we would gladly give up our responsibilities.
Way to overreact. You do not have to “delete your accounts” or “stop being part of the club.” It just means they are not allowed to hold an “office” or “office like position.” As for the servers… either way they are WCU property…
Just for the record, I was not there for the Mini-Lan, so before you start flaming me I did not cause this. I’m merely explaining the situation as I see it and from experience.
ManlyMoose
SpectatorThe fact of the matter is that WCU does not allow Alumni in clubs, much less hold ANY position inside of said club. I’m assuming the servers are WCU property… in which case if we are investigated, as JAS was, it could end with complete removal of all servers, funding as well as a fine. If you really care about the “club” and not having just your own CS servers, why not help willing members learn how to take the admin position for the servers?
Theres nothing about Alumni using the facilities provided by the club, it would not be like you were being run out.
ManlyMoose
SpectatorHe kaz, I might have an old one back at my house. I’ll let ya know when I stop back by there this week.
ManlyMoose
SpectatorWell, considering I’m a senior, not on campus, and an actual club member.. not an alumni, I’ll continue to post as I see fit. Oh, and if you think reporting people to WCU from here will stop ANYTHING? You are sorely mistaken, any good troll would post them from a public access instead of their room. Tis just good business. Why not let the club president post something. Kaz is respected.
ManlyMoose
SpectatorEh, I would rent it first. Save ya cash Kaz, after a day or two I’m sure you’ll hate it as much as you hate SF4. That or be screaming firetruck every ten minutes in the lounge.

So you’re ok with me posting your name, address, and picture on 4chan then? I mean it’s all the same…
I see you’re a new member, have you tried playing on our servers?
New member? Maybe, would I care? Probably not since you do not have my address. I’m not sure how you think someone can get an address from a picture. Also, last time I checked imageshack was NOT 4chan. Are you going to go complain to WCU or any other organization that might have taken a picture of you and hosted it online? If not, please cut the *edited*.
I don’t play on the servers, mostly because CS blows and L4D is more fun playing against random people. See your *edited* at the lan honky.
(ps, as a “nice” deed for the day, I’ll tell you how to avoid things like this happening. Just sit back, laugh over something, and move on. If people see something bothers you, that only fuels the fire.)
Now, as a jew, I’m going to have to charge you $3.50 for this advice.
ManlyMoose
SpectatorDon’t get all butt hurt cause there’s a picture on imageshack. If there is a picture ANYWHERE on the net, it is the same *edited* thing. Get the drama queen a tub of Ben and Jerry’s so they can get over it.
