Hey guys check this one out too
thats why online gaming will always be *edited* unless everybody has a 100 Mbps connection, which is equivalent to all Ethernet cards in consoles and most in PC’s
i guess your right on that Mitch.. why not wait and upgrade the whole thing instead of doing bits and pieces which would cost me more in the long run. Also if i wait there should be a bigger choice to choose from later
I definitely want to see what these zambezi’s have to offer this year but i have been reading that am3+ mobos are going to be backwards compatible with am3 chips, so i could always upgrade my mobo and gpu and still be satisfied, for now lol
im right there with ya derrick i love my crosshair iv. I want to overclock with rog connect but the wife wont let me use her laptop.
BTW Mitch whats your opinion on the 6970 vs the 6990

No i meant 10 buck a head, escentially even if only 4 teams showed up they would be making their money back, but if you think the price is to steep we can drop it if it will attract more ppl. The main reason i had that price is it worked at the last event like this with great success.
$10 a head is even better
I will make a post on MLG’s forums.tell me where you post it so i comment on it
so do you think we can get alot of ppl that early, did you put a thread in the NC local lans thread on mlg
well if this is goin to be fully legit mlg then we need to find ps3’s for blackops and hdmi cables to go with them, as for reach me you both know the exact equipment for that so that game is covered. for starcraft 2 we will need the to the check the site for that
ya we might need to set that date back because it might take us a while to get everything setup, and for a tournament this big we need to make sure that we will have enough equipment this time. Alot of time and money goes into preping for something this big, because providing our own supplies is definitely a plus and if we can provide our own it would cut down on lacking of supplies an confusion. we need to definitely need to find a way to get highly financed for a task like this or its disaster in the making
welcome friend, im also a fellow halo player been playin the game for 10 yrs now. I believe our next lan is April 9th so hope to see ya there, and if your lookin for a teammate online just hit me up. GT: fR Audacity
lol me and waffle have been trying to do that for a while now, but if you up for it Thor then we need to play together. gamertag is fR Audacity hit me up anytime
like we were talking the other day Matt, kids want money when they compete and its kind of hard to do that at the moment
very much true Mitch, the LANs are supposed to be fun and sportsmanship is a must. Due to the minor setbacks we didn’t get finished until 1145 with the console tournaments
all in all it was an OK LAN but i was disappointed in the fact that we got delayed in the console tournaments due to people getting upset and leaving after they lost, thus having to take their equipment with them. I know we didn’t really expect this to happen, but i think from now on we need to expect the unexpected. Maybe try and find a way to invest in extra supplies for something like this even though that is a Lil difficult due to the funding you guys have at the gaming club. I will be helping Matt Wiard aka Waffle in his quest to find more sponsors for the club, so hopefully one day we can have these supplies for the upcoming lans.
