He’s referring to the old highlander plugin (which haven’t found yet). It allows the top three admins *in the server* to use their admins, so if more than three admins are in the server, only the top three can use it…

I’ll probably have a 360 by the next LAN so you can count on that at least. (with the essentials: halo 2, GOW)

Admins can use them too, but the custom server is about custom maps and custom gameplay, not custom ways to torture users :>

Grenade type sounds interesting, especially for figuring out who the hell teamflashed you. Uberslap? I thought that was working.

The idea is to keep map changing from happening outside of the end-of-map vote on the main server, and leave amx_map for when the server crashes or otherwise empties. I’m still going to make improvements to the voting system so it doesn’t get stuck in the office-aztec-dust-dust2 cycle as frequently.

Once people buy the consoles, they buy games. They buy accessories. They buy piles and piles of crap. And Microsoft/Sony get a cut of every sale by way of a licensing fee.

Once the custom server is up I am actually going to restrict the mapchange command to executives and remove mapvotes entirely from the main server. Problem solved. And yes, I agree whole-heartedly that the map gets changed far too often.

Anyone who wants to make a change to their preference, just state the name you used to sign up and what you want changed.

Don’t have an xbox, but it looks like one hell of a game. Bust it out at the LAN, and you might hook me into buying a 360 ;)

In case you hadn’t noticed, the script is gone. A custom server would be a neat thing to have, and may be in our future.

Gamecreate itself isn’t causing problems, something within the gamecreate directory is. So I’m moving it outside of the wcugaming-hlserver directory to fix it. Firedaemon will be controlling it, although I will write a plugin for IPB to let higher-level admins start & stop it.

I think something is fubar with the server right this instant, since it crashed around 6PM and has since been failing to run map votes. I will be restarting it sometime tonight so it doesn’t really matter. This might explain /rank and /top15 not working.

I can see why it is useful to ‘hide’ from hackers, so I may turn /admins off in the near future.

Spawn point editing would be neat, assuming it doesn’t crash/glitch the server.

We already have the bomb dropping thing.

I’m not a big fan of the silly slay plugins, although one with a nice explosion would be OK, like we had before and like adminmod has by default.

thats for exec commands on clients, really useful when hackers come in :) bind all their keys to kill!

Let’s not go there – too easily abused. I should know *cough*

this is really cool so people can do /motd commands also we can easily modify the code so that they see other stuff like /rules page and /application /apply /need admin commands so they get what they need IN THE SERVER!

I already wrote one, remember? I’ll get to testing that very soon. Like in an hour or so. Also, uberslap is missing because I couldn’t find one for AMXX and don’t want to turn the compat layer back on.

No no no… there are no network bridges like that. the Box just sits on the ResNet network, it has it’s own VLan trunk that gets it to the ResNet interface and it stays way out of the Admin network.

I’ve locked the ticrate to 100 in an attempt to alleviate lag issues, it at least works as a placebo effect. Perhaps we should contact NCREN and see if they made any changes recently?
