Well Im definitely gonna nominate Soul Calibur IV since it has almost had a higher turnout than Brawl and since people seem to like to play it. And honestly Ephriam, I’m gonna nominate the PS3 version of MK vs. DC Universe because I know 2 people that have it and thats not counting the fact that I’m also gonna be getting the “uncensored” European version for PS3 soon, but dont take this the wrong way. And as a side note, I think Brenton’s idea about having 2 FPS’s, 2 Fighters, and 2 miscellaneous games isnt a bad idea.

Sounds good to me. I’m not trying to be an *edited* about this or pressure anyone into anything, I just think it would be a good move to get the meeting underway as soon as possible so we can start advertising early and have a better turnout for both the PC and Console sides for our upcoming LAN.
You know they have been doing this in Japan for a while now (I think somewhere around 4 years). Yea, I wish I could get some of that exclusive stuff but I don’t think I ever will sinc Nintendo seems to be in that “We aren’t going to release anything good phase in the near future phase”. And if they would, I would be more than excited about Club N but until then, I’m not even going to hold my breath.
Next week is fine but when I first heard about the meeting, people were saying that it was going to be 2 to 3 weeks from now and I just figured doing it sooner might be a better idea.
I’ve been hating Dell since I bought one of their *edited*ty Desktops a few years back. And this “Sponsorship” is making my hate for them grow
Trust me, SC4 will be back (or at least it should) because if I’m not mistaken it drew the second highest crowed of people with Brawl drawing the highest.
I’m good friends with Devin and Angel too and Devin told me that they were going to hold a Brawl and Melee tournament. Honestly, no one knows when our next LAN will be because we are not gonna have the meeting to decided it for another 2 to 3 weeks. I want to have the meeting sooner than that so we can get the word out to people. And on another note, as soon as I get back on campus and I have some free time, I’m gonna try to have a talk with some of the Executives over at APP and try to see if we can do something like a rival’s LAN or something like that. If anyone would be interested in doing this let me by mailing me here on the forums or just post it to show them that we have support for something like this.
I missed the meeting? Oh well, I guess I’ll just play in the Gauntlet and SSB tournament at the LAN. Someone else will have to run those tournaments though because I don’t know how to operate those old systems lol. Honestly though, I think the meeting should take place on the 15th that way we can book the Grand Ball room early and actually try to promote the LAN much earlier than we did last semester.

I understand were you are coming from MP but u have to look at it this way, our club probably has more console players than PC and they are probably the same way. It may not be a problem for our hard core PC people to lug their PC with them down to APP, but to most people, its just not worth it. Especially if they know we are gonna kick their asses

Trust me Ephiram, if its teams Brawl they’re gonna do, u and Scare are definitely gonna be going with us. Honestly though, Im hoping we can take a lot of people if this happens, it would be a lot of fun.
Well if it comes down to it and we can only take a certain amount of people, I guess we could have a try out or something for the different games. But do not get your hopes up people, we don’t even know if the club can sponsor us yet. Hopefully though, we will know soon.
I know I could get a Soul Calibur IV, SSBB and SSBM group together to kick some *edited* and possibly win! So maybe we should get Bitey to talk to SGA about sponsoring us because I would LOVE to go and participate. As far as PC games go, Im not sure because because my “connection” over at APP didnt say anything about PC games.
I thought u said u liked it Josh? Anyway, I think its a good game and possibly a tournament worthy one……
